Wait, you mean you actually expected this movie to be good? Were you thinking when you rented it?

Unfortunately quite a few here recently. The last three I can think of:

    Hitman
    Strange Wilderness
    10,000 BC

    All pretty horrible.

Luckily only Hitman was in a theater. And I would have left that one, if it wasn't for the fact that I was in an Alamo Drafthouse type of place and had to pay for my alcohol/food.

By the time the bill came, I couldn't even muster up the will to leave.

That is EXACTLY how I felt about Zohan. I am by NO MEANS a movie snob, but I couldn't believe the people who were laughing uproariously at the played out jokes. I seriously wanted the person next to me to knock me unconscious.

Scratch my first post in this thread - Zohan completely takes the cake.

I would say Lord of the Rings or Titanic, but I couldn't sit through all of either.

Napoleon Dynamite. Call me old fashioned, but I when it comes to comedies I would like to find one thing to laugh at during the movie.

Vantage Point was the most recent. I know it wasn't a comedy, but it made me laugh more than Napoleon Dynamite.

The Matrix series. I tried to finish each one of them, but never could. That series just sucks.

The Star Wars series is a close second. I've never seen the old ones, but tried to watch the new ones and they were okay. Too much political stuff.

These are two movie series that are well known but I couldn't force myself to finish either one.

Nearly 3 pages of replies and nobody (unless I missed it) has mentioned that it should be "Worst Movie"?

    Hayesfan must be sleeping.

To answer the question...I would say Jurassic Park 3. Yeaaaaaaah, you'd definitely hear a phone ringing from 100 feet away when it's at the bottom of a 5 foot pile of brontosauras crap

This year, Indiana Jones 4. In previous years...

    The Black Dahlia
    Solaris
    Basic Instinct

What do all these movies have in common? Yes, that's right, gratuitous amounts of the lead male actor's buttocks. And by gratuitous I mean *any* amount of male buttocking. Is it the only reason each of those movies was among the worst recordings ever put to film? No, but it certainly didn't help.

Male nudity is never a positive, and only rarely a neutral (American History X and Trainspotting come to mind). And if the actor is full of himself (Douglas, Clooney, Cruise, etc.) then it's 100% guaranteed to fail.

Watching Black Dahlia was bearable if you managed to psychologically fool yourself into thinking the title of the movie was "Big Lebowski 2". Solaris was flat out unredeemable.

And for those of ya'll who hate Unbreakable, know that I and my friends call it "Unwatchable".

Blair Witch comes to mind. I almost forgot about Freddy Got Fingered...that's a close one. Did Tom Green speed off in a car yelling at an old woman in the opening scene? That might have been the one funny moment of that movie.

Oh come on. Jerking off an elephant to the point of it climaxing all over Rip Torn isn't funny anymore?

Haha, I actually enjoyed Zohan more than the Love Guru. To me Zohan is one of those stupid movies where even though the jokes are bad...I can't help but to laugh at it. But the Love Guru was just horrible. Myers felt like that friend everyone has...that friend who always kills the joke and doesn't know when to stop.

I can remember only a single movie that I didn't watch all the way through (I'm talking about ones on DVD or theaters) - Cheech & Chong's Up in smoke. It was not funny at all. Other than that one, I think I've sat through all the movies I've intended to watch.

As for the topic, a few come to mind:

    Boogeyman
    Cube 2: Hypercube
Team America: World Police (can't believe creators of such a brilliant show can make such a horrible movie)
House of 1000 Corpses (if I had to choose one, this would be it)
John Tucker Must Die (asking girls about good movies is not a good idea).
