Woudn't a normal riddle ask as a final question, What am I or Who am I? This one simply says, guess the riddle. What riddle? Mothers? Polar Bears have no hair when their born, only after their breast fed does their hair start to grow. Mom's faces get pissed on all the time by babies. Girls want to comb their hair like Mom. What is the word??? this is the riddle that I have heard , with the same claim that 5% of adults cant figure it out but 95% of children solved it within minutes... the answer to this one makes more sense than than the one this thread is about... and someone has already said the answer... who believes anything they see on the internet anymore? who believes these studies , polls and surveys?... im very skeptical lately...
I've heard that one too. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the polls, studies, and surveys you hear over the internet and in your email are totally fabricated. That's why Snopes is such a valuable resource.
I think the statistics are bogus. 84% of kindergarteners get the answer right? I don't know many 5 year olds that even can comprehend the questions being asked. They would be like... what is a celebrity? What is champagne? What is a polar bear?
That one actually has an answer (just in case anyone was wondering). They each spent $9 total, with the tip already included. Spent $30 originally, got $5 refunded, then gave $2 back to the hotel = $27. As for the riddle this thread is about...I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else and say that it has no answer.
ah I dont think there's an answer to that riddle ...... If they each spend $27 and the clerk guy recieved $2 tip that's a total of $29 ..... wasn't it orginally $30 spend?

Which is why I think they would say "there is no answer," whereas, Harvard guys would actually sit there, trying to figure it out. It's kinda the same thing that happens with the riddle across110thstreet posted.
