I think I tried to cram to much in there. Allow me to clarify: what ultimately scares me is two things a) the way that this current administration seemingly only seems to care about force as a means for achieving results and respect worldwide (while being tone deaf to something like what happened in the video). b) the flippant manor in which many in the GOP and country at large for that matter seem to regard war and foreign policy. If the Trump administration does end up going to war (if I had to bet I'd say that we will end up with a pointless and costly war with Iran sooner rather than later); the same people who wanted Trump brand isolationism in the primary will be all of the sudden gung-ho to engage in the Middle East
This is Trump we are talking about here, he can accomplish the impossible. Nothing Trump does surprise me anymore, including if him winning the 2020 election.
