    Wow, I'm amazed that you guys are watching live footage from Congress. Thanks for the live PBP coverage.

    As for Graham, he's as phony as McCain. What a treat to listen to both of those clowns drone on and on.

    As for the Democratic strategy, they really can't do much. As much as I would like to see a filabuster, its still political suicide considering the Republicans are just flat out better at spinning stuff like this and they'll end up using it as evidence that the Democrats are coddling terrorists. I think relying on the courts is an awful strategy but they've got no other recourse on this issue. All they can hope for is to ride it out and possibly gain ground in the elections and take over Congress.

    Ugh.. this is just depressing.

    Party line vote rejecting Rockefeller's amendment to inform the Congress on the President's discretionary findings. In other words, the Senate just voted to not allow itself to perform oversight of the Executive Branch.
