Pretty boy take off in 5..4..3..2..1 I agree, horrible song but like a few of his others, it's catchy.
I've never encountered the word swag in every day conversation. I've seen it used in a Soulja Boy video though before.
One of the benefits of not living in the States is that I don't have to be exposed to songs like these. Although these "foreigners" trying to act black and American is just as bad.
If you want a word that's really been overused is the word "like" Unless you're comparing something to another, it's like the most unnecessary word used today.
Of course ESPN has to use the word swag. It's a stat in Madden now right? As someone who liked to use the word swagger in its proper definition before it became shortened and popular, I hate it. But I also -izzled practically any word I could 10 years ago, so I just pretend I don't hear it.

OMFG! tell me about it! Just this morning I hopped up off my bed went downstairs to eat breakfast, got ready and left the house and just then it hit me that I forgot to turn my swaaaaaaaaaag onnnnnnnnnn.
People will stay annoying far after swag leaves the daily vernacular. There will just be another made up word overused 3 years from now by the disciples of the previously annoying.
The worst part about it is that half the people that use it don't even know the meaning. Stop trying to be "hip" and just say they have tons of CONFIDENCE! Lames.
