I'm glad all of you seem like pretty intelligent people, and no ones tried to debate the Paul is Marilyn Manson crap. That always pissed me off! And how the deuce did Paul lose his virginity before Kevin?
Incest?!? Was she a family member? I must not have seen that one... I could hardly believe that either. Here's Paul with no real girl experience, and then he meets up with this girl he hardly knows and they sneak into the other room and all of a sudden rip each other's clothes off? (At least, that's what he said happened... notice we never saw it. ) Is that really realistic? Then again, if some of your stories in the "when did you lose your virginity" thread are to be believed, these things do happen. Just never happened around where I was.
Wonder Years was a quality show. I remember watching it, and hating the older brother. But looking back, that was probably how I acted towards my younger brother. Kinda funny, IMO. A bit off topic, but currently, all signs point to yes.
Baby Boomers like to abuse themselves whilst looking in the mirror, 'le Wonder Years' is a good example.
The Wonder Years was one of my favorite shows growing up, and I still like it, but it is very depressing for me to watch. I think it's a combination of knowing the sad conclusion to the series, being able to relate to the flashback method that I just wasn't able to as a youth, and seeing how the kids who starred in the series are now all grown up.
