Friends, BBS posters, let us not fight, but join together!!! This issue here is not about ettiquette, but about the fact that Walt Williams is a horrible, horrible basketball player. Let's be friends.

I will not join together with anyone who hates Walt! All you bashers just complain and whine. Get over it and be satisfied with what we have! At least we don't have Pippen!

It is time to make a peace offering and go with what Fromobile has said and that is that we are all on the same side of side of the coin. We are all Rockets fans and I assure you that there is no bigger Rockets fan in Cincinnati than me. I left my high school graduation early to see the Rockets-Celtics game 6 final back in '86. My favorite player of all time is Lewis Lloyd (although Mad Max ranks a close second) etc., etc.. I apologize to all who are offended that Walt Williams is a "horrible, horrible" player. That is a sad fact and I am just doing my part by having some fun with it. Take care Rockets fans and remember we are all on the same side!!!

You don't want to know what he shot from the field.......1 for 8. 0 for 5 on 3's.

I was really getting disgusted until I read that his hand is still bruised. From what I've seen in the past Walt can't shoot at all if his hands are hurting. He can't get to the hole like a Cuttino, and he cant' really get many points in the flow of the game like Shandon or Carlos.

Unfortunately, for the rest of this season, we (and Rudy) are stuck with him whenever Shandon needs a rest or we need someone to come off of the bench. The prospect of sticking Langhi in right now is pretty frightening considering how green he is, and well....who else is there? I like Langhi, but we really needed to get him game-time experience earlier in the season if we were going to use him during the playoff crunch.

Everyone ripped me apart for my previous Walt columns but I hope some of you are coming around now. Walt hit a big 3 tonight towards the end but still cost us a HUGE playoff important game with foul after foul (and complaint after complaint) along with not grabbing the critical rebound at the end of the game. These are small things but like I have said all along these are the things that separate the playoff teams from the pretenders. Everyone keeps replying that we have no one better to replace Walt (Langhi) but that is not true. We have Kenny Thomas and he is and always will be better than Walt (especially in rebounding and defense).

One last thing I want to get out of my system.........if we must play Walt than play him like you play Bullard. Use him as a 3 point specialist (when we are down etc.) and that is it. Rudy is playing Walt entirely too much. His only talent he gives you is the occasional 3 pont threat. Rudy always confuses his backups with starters. At the ends of games he should be playing his starting lineup if they are not in foul trouble and that is it. I would rather lose games w/our best 5 on the floor!!!
