I read the whole piece and very moving. I'm glad that Derek found friends who helped guide him from his isolated and paranoid world views. I'm also glad that rather than entrenching like so many do when confronted with something that greatly challenges their world views he was open to listen and do his research. It's sad that most of his family is ostracizing him but it's a tragic and common story of a child who outgrows their parents insular world view only to be rejected. I give a lot of praise to him for handling it with grace.

naw I was pointing out how horrible the Democratic party is. Especially the crap that came out in the past couple of weeks.
Most people Most people are independent and if you are a person of color you are either lack political savvy or have a screw loose if you aren't.
My point is most candidates are deceiving if you take a close examination of policies. When all said and done neither Republican nor Democrat have good intentions, especially for minorities.
