Another quote from a Laker fan about the Artes trade. "Someone mentioned it already. Oh well does little to move them up. Another 5th seed or lower is in store for them."

The team that lost the most in this deal imo was the Lakers. All offseason people had been whispering about an Odom for Artest exchange that never materialized, and now instead of getting Artest they now face the prospect of having the best player to defend Kobe (Artest) team up with the best team defense in the West. I imagine we'll pose a huge matchup problem for LA, and the fans are responding accordingly. Seems like half of them are delusional and reprimanding the other half who are panicking like the Staples Center collapsed.

Most Kings' fans believe they got the better end of the deal. And they're right, from their point of view. Why would a rebuilding team want Artest?

I was very impressed with the Celtics forums on RealGM.

95% of those guys only offer analysis and praise for us, and very few actually bash us.

The Kings love Bobby Jackson ala Steve Francis to Houston. Donte Greene could turn out to be something special, and if it happens I'd be kicking myself.

Well what's there to post honestly

    It's basically

chicken littles: OMG ROCKETS WON THE WEST, IT"S OVER

    vs

the haters: THEY STILL HAVE TO OVERCOME (insert cliche stuff that gets talked about 1000 times every time any team makes a trade)

How cocky are Lakers fans! one good year and a lucky trip to the finals and all of a sudden the Lakers are a powerhouse! They are on cloud 9. Yao is a thousand times better than Bynum. Gasol is a bum, Scola is king. Odom is way overrated.

Lakers fans have been screaming for an Odom/Artest deal and now that Houston pulled off an Artest/bag of chips trade they act like Artest does not bring anything significant to the table? LOL

Yeah, Lakers fan, enjoy that "Big 3" in LA consisting of Kobe and 2 gentleman who are scared to death any time they are forced to play a significant game.

It's also funny how they compare their lineup to our new lineup. It's not even close! Even our starting PG is better than theirs.

This trade could be huge. I guess people don't realize that we won 22 in a row last year. Had we a healthy team, we would've been in the thick for the title. We damn sure wouldn't have lost to the j*zz. Forget Yao, we had them with Rafer there!

I also love how everyone throws out the 5th seed comment. Someone should tell them that even with our health issues, we've been 4th seed the last couple of years.

I look forward to next year and the fits teams and their fans throw. Here's hoping we take it all and fulfill what should have been coming for some time now.

    ;)

Forgot about that. The div thing though is the only reason for that. j*zz fans fail to mention that. Thats what gets me about those comments or the "if they make the playoffs" ones.

No to say that 5th seed and 1st seed were separated by 3 games.

i'm sorry, rafer isn't better than fisher. if anything, equal. fisher's perimeter shot is dead on, he also d's up and knows how to win.

He has the skills, but I still say he lacks heart when it matters.
