Westbrook effectively silenced all Rockets fans that absolutely hated his guts.

    It’s an amazing achievement.

Only pure fans care about the playoffs and fake fans judge them game by game

they don’t see the big picture
They only see the ESPN picture

You coming at the wrong guy brah. I've been a staunch Westbrook supporter since day 1 he put on a Rocket uniform.

Truth is this team wants to win championships. If they flame out in the first round you really think people gonna care about regular season stats and records? I just said the truth, playoffs all that matter.

Cp3 was great. James and him could not lead the team to a championship because they were not willing to work together to the maximum degree. Russ can call James out and James can call Russ out and that's why they have a chance

I just hope the haters are able to realize the error of their ways, although I doubt it.

I definitely take some pride in knowing these two were gonna dominate together from the moment the trade went down.

Like Kobe said, "You gotta enjoy and cherish the process." I feel you though. I just know it's deep to see a championship team become one before they actually breakthrough and prove what your seeing by actually winning it. Think about the 2011 championship Dallas team... I hated they won but the fans that knew they would sweep the Lakers, beat OKC and take down Miami with Lebron had to feel vindicated and know the media was plain full of bs.

Russ remains the alpha next to James. It’s been there even in okc... this is the best evidence harden put his ego aside to win a championship. Russ don’t back down from harden like everyone else did. He got in his face... and was like... we got robbed in the finals honey... let’s take it this time.

This thread is still too early. Hell, by the end of the year it'll still be too early. It's a 2 or 3 year experiment and even then, there will be flawed judgment for and against (unless a chip is won of course).

Yes for now, however, as with James his legacy will be determined only if we win a championship. Let's win the post season!

Fine but thats not what this was about .

Its the notion that you were either for or against wb coming to rockets.

Westbrook essentially cannot function in this offense without being surrounded by 4 shooters. It's essentially the same as Harden unable to function defensively where he can't switch and has to get over screens to chase other guards. This doesn't make them better or worse, just limited players.

The issue right now is whether the Rockets can play good enough defense to warrant the extreme nature of the roster in order to compliment Harden and Westbrook's limitations. If they can then they have a chance to win. If not well they just aren't good enough.
