This is the Houston Rockets and we are officially saying, "Welcome to H-town, Shane. Defend like crazy this season and we will be a lock for the conference finals." Five stars for this thread.
No hard feelings to you shane...I hope you get quicker and improve on your shoot even more in the offseason...t mac will be hurt agian most likley so it's gonna be you and yao...welcome to houston.
Shane. its not personal , alot of us are just spewing that our management would so easily give up/pass on kids like Carney, Brewer and Gay for a role player. No offense Shane but even you must admit that you are a role player, and not a star. of course you do play that role very , very well. just do your best, and try and make us LOVE YOU.
When you have team with two bonafide superstars you need your other players to say: A: "Obviously, this team is Tracy's and Yao's team. It's all of our jobs to complement them and make them better." Or B: " My goal next season is to win the MVP" "Do we really need three MVP canidates on our team?" Shane, I know you will do a good job here, Prove teh doubters wrong and Welcome to H-Town.
Shane, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll win your first playoff game and series here next season, stay healthy!
Welcome to Houston, Shane. Your skill, efficiency and winning mentality is admired and highly valued throughout the league by players, coaches, and organizations 30 deep. And I believe you will definitely have a positive impact on our road to Rocket greatness. Thank you in advance, Shane. And welcome home.
Word. Although I hated the trade, I have nothing against SB and think he'll be a nice addition to the Rox team. Welcome aboard!
Hi Shane, we know you read this board so welcome! I KNOW you'll become a major part of this team and city!
Welcome Shane. Defend well and keep hitting your open shots (loving the % behind the arc) and you will be better than any swingman here in the last 2 years. I can give ya my barbers number to get a straight edge up though brotha. I don't know how they do it in Memphis, lol.
Those Memphis barbers can do any thing you want. Didn't you see Terrence Howard's hair in Hustle & Flow?
