They are definitely beatable. Everyone is. The fact that Memphis took them to 6 shows that they are beatable. Memphis isn't the team they have been over the past several years. Plus they were not healthy. We match up well with GS. I have been saying that. It all depends on Dwight and how much he can dominate the paint. If he is able to, we could limit the Warriors' small ball lineup because they will have to go away from it to be able to slow Dwight. If not, they can just kill us with small ball. We can counter their strength. Just a question of how effectively.
Lost opportunity. We won the game until we forgot about Livingston. Can't allow that type of perf from their non star players. Curry is going to get his. Key is no one else explode on us. Livingston us 6'7, need brewer or harden to guard him.
Damn right they are. Yeah, yeah, yeah, doing it is another matter. Even up that officiating Missing 2 starters & another hobbled Still right there with them. Down but not out. BTHOgoldenstate game three!
Main thing is Dwight still looks really, really good(besides the FT shooting). That will give us a chance to win every game even on the road.
I'm not going to deny that hurt, but on the flipside today proved that last game wasn't a fluke, and the margin of victory was even closer this time around and could've gone the other way. Bodes well for a potential games 5 or 7.
To lose both of these games is utterly devastating. We can beat this team. Hell...we've arguably outplayed them. This could have been a title year. Just one too many mistakes. Painful.
We are lacking 2 players... I know it is old...yet having healthy bodies really count At some point the starters are going to be tired. We played 2 more games than the Warriors. I know we will be fighting back and win couple of games. But the fact that Game 7 will be at the Oracle is just worrisome.
Some of you seem to forgot about all the great playoff games in the past. Lots of them were won in the last 1-3 possessions. There were series where almost all the games where that tight. But I have a feeling this isn't one of them. We'll win big in HOU. We'll get our chance again in G5, and if not G5, G7.
It doesn't matter who we're missing. This is the team. They are good enough to win. We just haven't gotten it done, and we could have stolen home court twice. Hurts so bad. This team could win a title this year.
With one or two less dumb turnovers, a few lucky bounces, a call or two, the Rockets win both games in Oakland. They were right there. Here are my observations. 1. Harden has joined the playoffs full force. After looking tentative most of the first two series with a couple of exceptions. He has exploded in the Finals. 2. The Warriors have SO MUCH MORE TALENT than the Rockets and it is not even close. Besides Harden and Howard, they out talent us by a huge margin. 3. The Rockets are playing some seriously gritty basketball, seriously gritty. 4. Doesn't make sense, doesn't seem likely, but I think the Rockets can still win this. MUST take two in Houston. MUST! If they tie the series up, they got a chance. If not, they are done. 5. Think about it, if Smith and Brewer had had great games?
