Yup. Bogut trying to yank Dwight's arm out of socket was dirty as hell. They're the face of the league and ESPN, though, so nothing will change.
I also cannot believe that. I just saw that for the first time now. That probably should have been a very Larry Bird-esque moment (anyone remember that play I think where the Pistons were inbounding the ball and Bird stole it for the put in?) where we lost the game. It looked like the defender got a hand on it and it would have been an easy layup had he corralled it. Unbelievable gaffe. Just throw it to the other end...anything but that!!!!
You can't win in this league unless you push the rules to its boundaries and dont get scared to go beyond their limits. Dirty is for the weak.
I wish the same person who made the highlight reel of Harden's defense would make one of Golden State and all the stuff they get away with. For sure would get ignored though as the media is in love with GS.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen anyone outside of Bogut and Draymond pull this crap. Maybe Festus and Iggy get some moving picks, but nothing out of the ordinary. I just feel like those two would be doing this stuff regardless of the uniform on their back
Yes, but they don't have another jersey on their back. Green is essentially the leader of their team. It's fair to call the team dirty when they have the 2 dirtiest players in the league in their starting rotation.
The problem is the uniform on their back is what protects them and allows them to get away with that.
You guys are right. It's not just the uniform, I feel like that behavior is amplified in Oracle Arena with the crowd (and refs) on their side. By the way, has the 2 min report come out yet? I can't wait for the NBA's non-apology apology...
At least GS is getting some national attention for being dirty. http://www.foxsports.com/nba/story/...rd-andrew-bogut-daryl-morey-dirty-play-042216
No team is worse than the Stockton-Malone-Sloan Jazz when it comes to dirty play(well, maybe the Bad Boys Pistons).
if the nba wanted to appear to be fair they would suspend Bogut and make Green's foul a flagrant. For sure Bogut warrants a one game suspension. In last years playoffs suspensions were handled for MUCH less offences than this extremely dirty and dangerous shoulder lock Bogut did.
Beverley has that attitude. He doesn't take **** from anybody....it's sad because nobody else on this team is like that. They need to play angry, and they just don't have that in them.
