....I think that what Johnson says here is not-so-much dumb as it is coarse... ...and could actually be considered tame, given what we've learned of LBJ's demeanor and conduct towards people while in office.. ...Johnson was about a full ten years younger than the Donald when he was in office, anyway...sharp as a tack, too...so he was a long way away from what Trump is babbling on about anyway...

I think she truly is. It's pretty amazing that someone so young can have such a huge effect. It isn't even the effect on environmental issues, but she has the attention of heads of state and government institutions and has been taken seriously where millions of others have not been.

Is it wrong that she annoys the hell out of me? Off-topic, but I think we need to get off our fixation on everybody working. With automation, each worker is thousands of times more productive than a worker from a couple of centuries ago. And as we continue to climb the automation curve, the amount of investment in each person necessary to make them capable of delivering economic value above that of a machine also goes up. At some point, we need to realize that we've engineered our way out of the universal necessity to work and it's okay to find some other source of meaning to our lives.
I have I think the same problem with her many do who totally agree with her positions but seriously dislike her methods of disseminating information. Her public speaking delivery may totally be related to her autism so it's much easier to just it ignore her speeches than mock someone on the spectrum. Of course potus has to go way over the line and actively mock a girl with autism -- God forbid his son is ever even mentioned regardless of the topic.
