Dude wasn't convicted by the media. He was convicted by 12 peers based on proof beyond a reasonable doubt. If there was any real merit to this argument, it would have constituted reasonable doubt and Chauvin would be a free man. The jury heard the argument and rejected it. It is not the people who believe in the institutions we've built our democracy on - like a right to a fair trial - that are being played here. Today's conservatives don't even believe in the ideals of America any more.
Those jurors were scared for their life. No way that was an impartial jury. Mob rule (supported by the media and driven by Democratic politicians).
The evidence was available to defense lawyers, presented and a jury of Chauvin's peers found him guilty of murder. But yes he he OD at the exact time Chauvin was kneeling on him. Lol.
You are very confused. You should probably watch the interview with the jury and CNN. They convicted him of second degree murder because he didnt give CPR, not anything to do with Chauvin's knee (their words) . Your blind faith in juries defies obvious evidence of thousands of juries who have got it wrong. These jurors were horribly evil.
I agree that there was nowhere on Earth Chauvin was going to get a "fair" trial given the situation at the time. However, the facts of the trial are there for all to see and he was indeed guilty. People still clinging to these false narratives is really pretty pathetic.
TJ said he 'didn't kill anybody.' Jury says he did. You're trying to obfuscate the issue. There are injustices in the court system, mostly for defendants who can't afford adequate representation. That wasn't Chauvin's problem. Still possible a jury got it wrong, but you're not going to be able to discern better than a jury that dedicated it's full time and attention to looking at the evidence while you're sitting on your couch.
They did. You know they did because you can hear it in their interview. Thats not 2nd degree murder . Thats not 'possibly wrong', its definitivly wrong. By your dumb rationale, OJ is innocent (HoW CoulD wE kNoW mOrE tHaN tHe JuRy?)
Ok being not guilty is a product of a court system that puts the onus on the claim of guilt rather than the claim of not guilty. You understand these basic concepts about our legal system right? So yes juries probably often do let guilty individuals go a lot but that is by design as our system theoretically believes that putting a innocent human in prison is a far worse moral actions that letting a guilty person go free.
You want me to post examples of juries finding innocent people guilty or do you just want to delete your post?
Of course it happens. It s a failure of our justice system when it does and usually it happens to the least powerful people in society who can only hire public defenders who have 10 clients to deal with that week while your life is on the line. Poor people get plea deals because they can't afford a long trial. Rich people get plea deals because they know there is overwhelming evidence of guilt. You don't understand the root causes of innocent people systemically being found guilty. It rarely happens to people like Chauvinist who had the backing of powerful unions think tanks etc.
You people have a video of him casually sitting their while he crushes this helpless man’s neck with a knee and you still refute relevancy? There was no need for that sort of restraint in that situation. None.
He had his knee pressed on his neck for a literal 5 minutes or 300 seconds AFTER Floyd went limp. That is flat out murder. Restraint wasn't the purpose when you are shoving your knee onto someone's neck for 300 seconds after they turn limp.
So does the jury and medical examiner. Chauvin was not convicted for putting his knee on flloyd Oh ok. You put all factors into your algo and determined its not likely Chauvin was wrongly convicted. Very cool. Did you remember to add the jury explaining why they got it wrong?
