    Maybe the solution here is to raise the max salary? It'll create more separation between the truly elite superstars like LBJ, Durant, Curry etc. and the mid-high tier players that can also command the max at current levels, but are considerably worse than a truly elite players.

    I think it'll create more parity across the league because each team would only be able to afford 1 or 1.5 max contracts on its roster as opposed to 3. Right now there is not enough incentive for players to NOT form a super team since they'll still be paid the same regardless of wher they go.

    If the cap had gone up last summer instead of this one, pollo loco Corey Sewer would also be a max player.
