Of course miracles happen in 5 game series more than they happen in 7 game series. Look for Dallas to win in 5.
If Golden State can avoid a sweep, by even winning just 1 game, they have done their job. That is basically the best case scenario.
You and I seem to have very different definitions of the word "best". I think the "best case scenario" is that the Warriors sweep the Mavs into oblivion. But seriously, I think the realistic best case is the Warriors getting two games... or if they get only one, they put a good scare into the Mavs in at least a couple other games and make them work for their wins harder than any team 30 games behind you should make you work. I think that's fairly likely, too.
According to the Dallas local station here, Mavs will rotate their starters for the rest of games. They will not play full strength against Utah later this week. On the other hand, Denver is killy Jazz in the first quarter so far.
Utah can be one game behind in the loss column and still control their own destiny....the Rockets can not. DD
must be hard to hear all that crap about the mavs up there. I can't stand it on businsess trips for 3-4 days out of the week, 2-3 times per year!
We control our destiny right now. If we win the rest of our games, we will get HCA regardless of what Utah does.
But that includes showing all your hands in last game against Utah . I am not sure that's the best thing to do.
Both Utah and Houston control their own destiny as far as HCA goes, and Utah would still control it's destiny even if it lost tonight. DD
This is correct. I doubt Utah wins the rest of its games though. They have a back to back Dallas-Phoenix then they play Us. I like our chances now.
