I see Harden's major advantage over Luka is his build to play this style of game
He is a tank built to keep taking the pounding going inside over and over but remaining the most durable superstar in the league his entire tenure here

Luka seems to be a fragile type who will constantly battle nagging soft tissue problems playing this style night after night
Some guys just can't handle the grind and will always miss games or have to play hurt often
EGo and CP3 are 2 prime examples
Luka and Porz need to spend a summer training w LeBron to learn his secrets or they will never reach their potential

Yes Harden's strength is his strength. Probably the strongest 2 guard in league history.

Only cuz he not nearly as good, nba been trying their best to make him great. Look at Jimmy butler last year. His free throws went off the charts in playoffs.

Just saying weird things always happen to Harden and the Rockets that would never happen to any other team. It's hard not to think their isn't a bias against him and the Rockets

Just look at last year. He dunks the ball and the ref doesn't even count it. Or how about she Durant took 5 steps out of bounds to save it. That has never happened to anyone else. These obvious calls you can't miss.

Enough of the blaming. Everyone just wants to blame others for everything these days. It's such a culture of victimhood. Just enjoy being a fan.

I agree but there is a reason rockets are treated the way they are harden is treated the way he is. It's because rockets are not the "home" team. That simple. They are the opposition.

It's not the end of world kyrie and Hayward wanted out of boston it's not like rockets are immune.

    Butler didn't want Minnesota chicago

    Leonard didn't want beloved spurs.

Let's not cry too much but know this is lakers world and 29 others teams as washington generals challenging the champ

    OP is not alone,

when someone doesn't want to hear what he likes to hear, they will always blame the media.

Luka needs to spend a summer with Harden to figure out how an almost as fat guy can dominate the league without DNP Resting

I think what Houston fans don't understand is that the Rockets have been one of the league's premier teams for a while. There's the top tier of the NBA which belongs to LA & Boston. Then there are the next of the Spurs, Heat - perennially good teams that have won rings. The Warriors are almost in that tier now. Those 5 teams are the big 5 right now. Then there is the Rockets - which is SUPPOSED to be part of that group - always have great teams every generation, but for some reason has disappointed the last 20 years. Yes the Rockets won 2 championships but there have been a multitude of disappointments going all the way back to the Hakeem era. Houston fans don't realize this, but the Rockets are part of the NBA's upper echelon since 1994. That means they get scrutinized more harshly and attacked more because people love to hit the elite with criticism. The difference between Houston and the other elite teams, is that the other elite teams win rings and have had generally less drama.

    1. Getting swept by the Sonics as champs
    2. Losing to the Jazz despite having Hakeem, Charles, and Drexler
    3. T-mac & Yao's many disappointments (injuries of course)
    4. And now Harden's many disappointments

Houston is a team that is always suppose to be in contention but seems to underperform in the playoffs against expectations when they have really good teams. I think that plays a role into the bias against the team as well.

And finally, Houston's brand of basketball hasn't always been esthetically pleasing to watch.

That's why there is a bias against the Rockets. It's not that they are in Houston. And the meltdown of an elite team is something for people to watch and thus the greater mindshare
