Actually, it was close all the way up to the point when Beverley got his 4th foul and had to go to the bench.

I know. But you don't think this statement is a little misleading?

"So it’s no coincidence that Game 2 was a much tighter affair when Lin spent the majority of the night watching Beverley put together a rather impressive stat line"

Makes it sound like Lin is the cause of bad play.

When Bev went out in the 3rd, the Thunder had outscored the Rockets 4-3 in the quarter. I wouldn't really call that a run.

This is one of those things I've thought about creating a thread. I think Parsons will grow into eventually being primarily a PF.

I think the Rockets value passing very highly. Parsons passes very well when looked at as a PF. The Rockets have had Chuck Hayes who could pass. They drafted a high risk guy in Royce White who could pass. They are linked with possible getting Josh Smith who can pass. Parsons is the best the Rockets have in a PF that can pass.

I didn't watch the whole (hospital duties, sigh...), but didn't OKC go a big run when Smith got in the third period? Clutch posted something to the effect the Rockets are a whopping -49 in two games when Smith plays. Smith is just hurting his team, please try somebody else.

Brooks had a part in the run as well. Couldn't do much offensively and Westbrook was blowing by him at will to the point where I think Harden had to guard him.

So because Diaw is a fat **** with poor work ethic we should avoid trying something with a completely different player?

Patrick Beverley has gone from unknown bench scrub to being compared to players like Bledsoe and Rajon Rondo literally over night.

Beverley is Rondo and Lin is Parker

    We can't lose.

Gosh, before it was Douglas vs Lin, Harden vs Lin, now Bev vs Lin. Why can't we just say Beverley is a good find and has played well and provided the great spark that this team much needed. You guys are such knee jerkers....remember the only time we beat OKC was when Lin scored 29 points and a few dimes and played a pivotal role in getting that win. Does that mean his the next Rondo? Hell no. Just means he has the potential to be a great pg for Houston's future.

I can already see what is going to happen, Beverley next bad game and you guys will then be screaming for his trade. Get a freaking grip and just realise unless your a Jordan, Lebron, Durant or the top top elite AND where you are the central player in your team (most usage)...you will bound to get a bad game.

Since Beverley is on the radar now, they might start to double team him when he has the ball. Try to disrupt his play. Other than that, i don't think they will be able to prep for him in the next game.
