Need i say more? The game definitely changes when he in. Good thing we had him last night because Jeremy wasn't feeling it.

He's really his whole career been more of a shooting guard on offense and a defensive specialist at point guard on defense.

I don't he has ever run an offense in his career before.

To be fair, he played a good game, but after how many bad games prior?

I do not think he is any better than TD - TD was lauded as the 4Q savior for many a game earlier in the season. TD is also doing a tremendous job now with the Kings.
Beverley hustles and he is a different type of defensive player as against Lin, who does not do face up defense but rather try to cut off passing or dribbling lanes and thus freeing himself up for weak side help more easily. Different players are better for different styles of players on the other side, but Beverely is more proned for fouls although he does bring a different level of energy in the game.

I only wish Beverley can be more consistent in his performance. If one watches carefully, Harden very rarely passes the ball to Beverley when both are on the floor, and many times, Harden would bring the ball up himself.

Yes good thing we had him. (Last night). What about the WHOLE month of March?
Beverly shooting a whopping .364 FG%. And acting like he's getting "better and better" or something....?

Meanwhile Jeremy Lin has shot .519 FG% from the floor in March. And Lin is hitting .419 from 3. Thats better than Beverley's overall FG%. Thats Steve Nash level play. There's your "show me consistency"

You're just making things up and being obtuse, busting a nut over some fresh "new" meat.

Beverley's a great under-the-radar find, good backup energy player with some nice defensive skills at the PG position. Consistent motor and fearless tenacity, he's doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing, giving the 2nd team a spark and competing being glad he's in the league instead of Russia.

Willing passer, needs to show he can improve on other areas on offense.

For some reason Beverley is a TERRIBLE home player, but GREAT on the road. Its a Heckyl & Jeckyl split .319 FG% at home, .457 on the road
    Code:
Split	Value	G	GS	MP	FG	FGA	3P	3PA	FT	FTA	ORB	TRB	AST	STL	BLK	TOV	PF	PTS	FG%	3P%	FT%	MP	PTS	TRB	AST

    	Road	15	0	256	32	70	17	36	6	9	20	38	50	14	6	18	36	87	[COLOR="Blue"].457	.472[/COLOR]	.667	17.1	5.8	2.5	3.3
Play AB at home, Beverley on the road :p

I think in the short minutes Brooks has been in, he's shown tighter handle on controlling tempo and running an NBA offense. Beverley is comparably quick and even a little stronger, but a little more shakey on his handles and jump shooting form.

Though Beverley gives what every coach wants, always available defensive hustle. It wont be lack of effort holding Beverley back

What are you talking about? Whenever Lin is on the court the Rockets are almost always playing well. There are obvious exceptions, but no one runs the Rockets offense better than Lin, except maybe Harden.

Beverly is a good point guard. If he can get his offense together and become more of a consistent scorer he would be a nice impact player coming off the bench.

fair point, if he keeps playing like this and Lin declining as he has past two games, Beverly hands down. Coming off the bench won't be that bad for Lin.
