I think I read somewhere on here that the American Dream last 40-50 years has been fake news. Social mobility was relatively non-existent over that period. So in that sense, I guess you are right.

I think most posters would have included a blurb saying that rather than posting with no context. When one posts the way you did, the implication is that it just happened and based on your posting history, I have a pretty good idea you didn't know that it happened last May until I replied.

I've been a little worried that we might see a breakout of what we saw in the summer of 2020 here in Minneapolis following the shooting of Amir Locke but it's been very peaceful. I give some credit to his father for calling out for 22 days of peace and nearly everyone seems to be following that even as there are more protests planned.

Also it being winter here it's hard to want to spend a lot of time in the street when it's 10 degrees.
