Aldo hasn't fought in like a year, coming off a injury...I expected some rust but man... Think he was too wound up and let the hype and pressure get to him.

This may have been Conor McGegor last fight at 145. He might be moving up to 155. He's had a hard time making weight at 145.
He looks like the freaking machinist during weigh ins. Shocked it doesn't seem to have a bigger effect on his performances.
No doubt. He is a huge 145 and walks around at a lean mid 170s. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't significantly stronger at 155 than he is at 145. Then again, he will be dealing with other dudes that walk around even heavier than he does. I don't think any of the current 145ers can hurt him with standing strikes. He ate the left Aldo hit him with as his own punch landed and even in slow motion you can see that it didn't even phase him. Mendez has serious KO power too and Connor laughed at his strikes.
So if Conor goes up to 155 he gets the winner of Rafael dos Anjos vs Donald Cerrone for the Lightweight title. If he stays at 145 I have no clue what happens. I really would like to see him fight Frankie, but with the quick KO there could be a rematch with Aldo.
I'd certainly rather watch a 13 second knockout in the UFC over 12 rounds of hugging... I don't see how Conor McGregor living up to the hype would be bad for the sport....especially considering that there's no legitimate competition for MMA.
Aldo got took like a amateur just starting out in MMA. Un Freaking Believable. Mcgregor is legend now and get to talk all the **** he wants.
