I had Gaethje is winning this fight via KO even before the weight cut issues for Oliveira. Oliveira is super good everywhere, but he gets hurt/hit a ton. Against Justin I'm betting those instances will be capitalized/taken advantage of more than they were with Dustin/Chandler. Add in the extra time (2+ hours) to recover along with Oliveira having to endure a brutal weight cut (last .5 lbs when u are dried out is beyond terrible) Justin has some big advantages. Justin just needs to avoid the ground game imo, but anything can and has happen in a MMA match.
Rose vs Carla was the worst title fight ever. Rose is so much better than Carla and though Ive no clue who won the fight, dont even care that Rose lost. Carla couldn't even hold her down when she managed to grab her and Rose is/was such a better striker but for whatever reason she (rose) did pretty much nothing for 5 rounds except retreat and trow the occasional punch.
Oliveira for the third time in a row, hurts his opponent, gets hurts himself, then somehow comes back and finishes the fight. Holy cow this guy is entertaining.
That was ****ing awesome. Oliveira proved he's the true champion with that performance. Gaethje is as dangerous as they come and almost took Charles out in the opening seconds but damn what a heart of a champion!
I'm starting to think seriously that this is part of his gameplan. It keeps happening over and over again and I'm starting to wonder if he's playing up damage to make his opponents get careless so he can get them to the ground.
If you let a fight that you could have finished go to the judges, you deserve to lose IMO. I hate it when talented fighters don't put forth the effort, don't take the risk to finish inferior fighters. I think the underdog deserves to be rewarded when the favorite acts that way.
Rockhold blowing snot blood all over Costas smiling face made me feel like I was watching a Tarantino movie
what a hail mary headkick. Edwards looked toast since the 2nd or 3rd round. He was barely firing shots and just retreating to the fence. What a kick and what a finish.
