Unfortunate for Weideman. There's still going to be a big question mark over him despite winning a 2nd fight over Silva due to the wierd nature of both fights. I was really hoping there'd be some resolution from this fight. I guess not. =/
Weidman, of course, deserves respect. Hail to the champ. The ending was just...ugh... Let's go Dragon!!!
While Silva recovered quickly, Weidman had knocked him out cold for a moment. The fight could have been called then. But, yeah, Silva was getting back into the fight, getting some shots in. Drew blood.
To be honest, Weidman was handling it, though. Who knows how it would have changed with more time, though. I'd love to see Weidman against Uriah Hall. It'll take a while to happen, but Hall is intriguing. Needs more polish, though.
i saw the replay, he grazed silva with a slight punch in the clinch, and then took Anderson down, the next two punches weidman landed on the ground didnt even touch silva
Me neither, but why? Obv waaay different sports, but Kevin Ware is already back on the court and his was arguable even nastier... don't bones heal even stronger? Especially if they put a steel rod in it or something like that?
