    Different types of "Bigs"

You mean ones that move well and protect the rim; which allows
for our Guards and SF's to stay on their assignments!!

I'm not sure that's an argument for making the lineup worse than it has to be just to force Sengun into the mix just to say you did.

The real question would be if the team would be better with Wemby and Smith playing the 4/5 and a real SF instead of just ramming Sengun into the frontcourt and forcing Smith or Wemby to play the 3 because we know Sengun can't play anything but the 5.

That’s just wrong. He’s plenty athletic and long enough to be a good defender.
The rest of the team has to be better, he was literally one of the best defenders on the team in multiple places.

I am not trying to force Sengun in to anything
Honestly . .. he is not MY GUY
I like him but not married to him
    but
I am saying he could work
Plenty of Players are 4s on offense but 5s on defense

Again . .. What Front Courts do you fear so much . .. which ones do you feels kills this line up

Lol we’re gonna disagree on that. He’s not long enough, he’s not quick enough, and has bad defensive instincts. He’s one of the worst defenders I’ve seen at his position

That's fine, I'm just saying that it feels forced. No one would ever go with that lineup naturally because it doesn't make sense. Odds are the Rockets don't win the lottery to get Wemby, but if they do, Sengun is either out of the lineup or on a different team.

Lol at kpj Stans drooling over one irrelevant comment.

Udoka raised his eyebrows when he said Sengun. He definitely wants Sengun traded.

this is the real issue I think. He's plenty long enough, defensive skills can be taught, but . . . he's always gonna move like he's got a turd in his shorts.

The true sign of will be the caliber of big we bring in. If we bring in a starting level guy, that’ll say a lot about how they feel about Sengun

He’s wingspan is ass tho. A lot of the good defensive center have like 7’3”-7’6” wingspans. So many times I’d see Sengun get scored on at the rim and I’d think “if only he had more length”

And that's him when he's SUPER young, he'll only get slower as he ages.

Well. You’re wrong, he’s same length as Jabari, probably better vertical pop than Jabari, not as quick laterally.
He gets his hands on more balls than any player on the team outside of Tari. His instincts are great. The problem is the guards defense and a really awful coaching staff and scheme

You realize how many centers in the league are same size or smaller?

7 ft wingspan, while being slow, and not explosive. We need a defensive force at that spot imo. It’s all preferences and we’re just not in agreement on that
