Except he's not (or shouldn't be) surprising anyone, so he is who we think he is. It's not like he suddenly figured out how to shoot like Lowry or something. The only thing that's changed is he's learned to play under control.

I dont see Miami going this way unless they are out of it by the 2nd round. i dont think they would blow up their big 3 for anything less.

The guy cried when his team lost in the playoff. You guys don't think it be the same when he gets here? He'll just pout and throw a fit and at the end of the day we'll be in the same situation like what Dallas and Lamar went through. A separation anxiety star player with no heart and no desire to play for us.

I rather have scola professional attitude for the game than a cry baby diiva

If he keeps up this level of play, it's entirely possible.

I'd much rather have Al Jefferson than both Gasol or Bosh. Dude's tough as nails, has post skills to rival Scola, and actually plays defense. Plus he NEVER turns over the ball.

Bosh would be a BEAST as a first option on another team

Bosh has more game and upside than Luis

They might for Lowry + Scola if they suck in the playoffs. Or some other combination; Lowry + Patterson + Dalembert?

Otherwise I don't see it happening.

Miami doesn't need a PG that dominates the ball. How in the world is Lowry going to run an offense that includes Wade and Lebron? If Miami does trade Bosh, they're going to do it for legit defensive NBA center. A Chandler type of guy. If they get Lowry, he'll basically turn into a jumpshooter and be a lot less useful.

Agree, bosh isn't a quitter, he cares about his image...as hard as the rockets tried to get him you know that he appreciates their thoughts of him IMO...bosh just needs a chance to step up and get more looks and get the confidence of what he is capable of doing (top 10 player in the league)...I would hate to lose Lowry and scola but fact is either we lose dragic and get nothing or trade Lowry and get something plus keep dragic...I'm down with trade 100%

a little off topic but if you had to choose bynum or bosh you know half of you would take bosh over bynum

Clutchfans - where All-Star production is less important than fans' vicarious sense of manliness.

Seriously, dude. If he posts a stat line like he did in his final year with the Raps, I don't care if he plays in a dress and Hello Kitty high-tops - this is a great move for the Rockets.

Lowry and Patterson, and some pick or young buck seems more feasible

THIS... it amazes me how everyone wants a star but is not willing to giving up anything... FACE it we are not getting Dwight and least not with our current offer... and i dont want a rental... Lets get a real contender with BOSH PARSONS LEE and Dragic we will have a solid core for 5 years to make a run at it...

We've had the pieces to make the Heat better since they acquired Bosh in the first place. I'd take Bosh.

And they did not make the playoffs. He has only gotten his team to the playoffs twice in the East.

He has never won a playoff series as the No. 1 star, including getting upset by a bad, getting old Nets team on his best team there.

He never was able to "recruit any star" or to the Raptors, nor did it appear like he really tried either.

You still need a solid defensive big as a Center to make up for his defensive liabilities, as his current "improvement" is due more to Wade & Lebron's defensive pressure on the wings than what he is providing down low. Can Camby really be healthy and productive for the next 3-4 yrs for a contender?

Ah, the always present team success argument that always pops its head up.

Newsflash, not even Kobe could get out of the first round without a decent supporting cast.

Newsflash, the Rockets are not getting out of the first round because they don't have a star.

Teams have team success, not individual players. I am not asking us for us to be the Raptors with no team built around Bosh, I asking for us to be the Rockets, who have an excellent supporting cast, while adding Chris Bosh.

I would rather have a 3 guard rotation of Clee/Klow/Dragic filling both guard positions... but I'd haveta pull the trigger for Bosh. Puttin Bosh with McHale may push him over the hump into superstardom....

I guess nobody looks at the random trade thread. A scenario like this has been posted multiple times in that thread.
