Bosh can only be useful if we have Camby and Hayes. I wish Morey would retain Dragic and get the Chuckwagon back. I like Lowry and Luis very much, and I would hate to see them go.
Wow, talk about overpaying. That's way too much to give up for any player in the league. Especially without Dwight promising to sign an extension.
Not sure how I feel about that, I do know that people have been underrating Bosh since hes played in Miami. As a 1st or even 2nd option he's a 23/24pts 9/10rbs a night guy
That's still a lot to give up since we'd be killing our cap flexibility by taking back Turk's terrible contract. I also don't think Dwight signs an extension to play with a gutted team--just IMO.
Bosh plays in the high post and is essentially a jump shooter. If youre going to trade our only low post threat then get a low post player in return, otherwise youre going to have some serious spacing issues. This also does not address our rebounding or interior defense issues. Scola n Lowry can fetch more than Bosh, who Miami doesnt really need. A more realistic trade partner would be Utah and their 4 prized bigs. They need a point so maybe Favors or Kanter + Millsap can be had for Lowry n Scola
Chris Bosh in Toronto as #1 option in his final year 24 ppg, 11 rpg, 1 block, 59% TS%, 9 FTA per game, 25 PER LOL NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR CLUTCHFANS
Bosh is a face up threat. He only plays the way he does in Miami because he's essentially been relegated to a roleplayer in their offense.
Bosh is like Gasol...except worse at everything offensively and defensively. Bad trade for both teams. Lowry off the ball would literally be worse than Chalmers, Scola would be good for them though. He's the Anthony of PFs. Already been proven right on Anthony in NY, do we really need to go through this again?
People forget how Morey drove all over the country chasing after Bosh. He is that same player if not better. It's just when you have two of the best rebounders in the league there are less rebounds to pass around. The same reasons why you want Gasol you want Bosh but even more. More importantly if the Heat do not make the finals Miami may be willing to look at a deal. And Lowry plus Scola will be hard to top. Unless they can get Nash for the MLE.
I wouldn't complain about landing Bosh but I'd prefer offering the same package for Josh Smith the rebounding and shot blocking he brings would more than make up for the difference in offensive efficiency and he seems to have the toughness that Bosh lacks.
I would much rather have Pau Gasol over Bosh. Bosh played very little defense in Toronto and has never impressed me with his post moves.
