The Top 25 Worst TV Characters Ever Ross on "Friends," Frasier on "Frasier," Diane Chambers on "Cheers," Andy Rooney on "60 Minutes" and the entire cast of "Full House," including the Olsen twins, are among the top 50 most hated TV characters of all time, according to FHM magazine. List writer Tom Conlon, says the No. 1 spot goes to the entire Tanner family because "it's impossible to single out Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, or the Olsen Twins as the most obnoxious." Ouch. The top 25 worst TV characters are: 1. The Tanner Family, "Full House" 2. Diane Chambers, "Cheers" 3. Andy Rooney, "60 Minutes" 4. Steve Urkel, "Family Matters" 5. Jan Brady, "The Brady Bunch" 6. Kathie Lee Gifford, "Regis and Kathie Lee" 7. Dawson Leery, "Dawson's Creek" 8. Elvin, "The Cosby Show" 9. Carrie, "Sex and the City" 10. Harry Solomon, "Third Rock From the Sun" 11. Thelma Harper, "Mama's Family" 12. Buddy Lembeck, "Charles In Charge" 13. Jimmy Fallon, "Saturday Night Live" 14. Bryant Gumbel 15. Joey, "Blossom" 16. Ernestine, "Laugh-In" 17. Bobby Donnell, "The Practice" 18. Dr. Phil, "Dr. Phil" 19. Ben Seaver, "Growing Pains" 20. Jesse Camp, "MTV" 21. Janice Lazarotto, "Head of the Class" 22. Face, "The A Team" 23. Jonathan, "Growing Pains" 24. Fran, "The Nanny" 25. Wesley, "Mr. Belvidere"
Urkel is an icon. He has no place on any such list. My list would be comprised of everything on MTV since Beavis and Butt-Head finished its run.
I agree Will try to make up for it BONEHEADS IN THE NEWS Three Connecticut men accused of kidnapping a multi-millionaire were caught when they used his credit card to order a pizza. The gang abducted Edward Lampert from the parking lot of his company last week, but the plot was uncovered when they used his credit card to have food delivered to the hotel where they were holding him. Detectives were able to use details of the transaction to trace the men's whereabouts, reports the New York Post. Police later convinced the three suspected kidnappers to give themselves up without violence. They face up to 20 years in jail if convicted.
This sucks. I know we don't pay for the articles but they could do better than the current idiots they have writing them.
Where is that girl from Beverly hills 90210 with the long face and the long t***? She has to be on such a list. If not the worst I have seen
You mean Tori Spelling? She is pretty annoying to look at. My list would include: The mom from Everybody Loves Raymond The entire cast of Will and Grace (except for maybe Will) Reba!!! Oh my God! There is nothing remotely funny about this show!!!
"Boner" from Growing Pains. There is something very, very wrong with anyone named "Boner" on prime time TV.
I'm gonna whiiiine eveeerryyy tiiiime I'm on screeeen with my nasaaaaly annoyiiiiiing voice. waaaaaaaaah! I hate most of the people on that list, but it's a pretty freaking stupid. I know most people would disagree with it. Pretty obvious it's just the opinion of what? Maybe 5 people at most? Worthless.
Yea, but her daddy is the producer. 5. "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" Yup, annoying 6. "Oh, Reege!" Annoying...check 8. No explanations needed on this one, heh 10. anyone who goes by "French" is gonna be annoying 15. "I mean, like WHOA!!" not annoying just dumb 20. LMAO on that one
Frasier Crane, one of the greatest and most brilliantly written characters (starting from his cheers days up to about season 6 of frasier) of all time is one of the most hated? damn. cheers is my favorite show ever (tied with simpsons) so i don't think i could put diane #2, but man i like the rebecca years more, mostly b/c she just seemed to fight with sam all the time and suck the fun out of the bar a lot. good character, just annoying at times. tanner family an excellent choice.
Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek Voyager) has no business not being on this list. I haven't seen all that much Voyager, but she was so terrible that every episode I saw I was hoping she (and Chakotay, for that matter) would get killed off and they would make Robert Picardo captain somehow. And since when is Jimmy Fallon hated? He's hilarious!
"Do you know the difference between yourself and a fat-brained ass?" "No." "The fat-brained ass would." Diane is insufferable, but as the Sports Guy noted, she was a important part of my life as a young man -- teaching me very early on that women are absolutely void of perspective and reason. ... or, at least, nearly as much as men are.
ahh well this explains it. as would it have been explained by being a poll of younger people. even though i'm young, just about all my friends don't/didn't like that show. i can't watch it anymore b/c it's gone so far down hill, but damn that was a great first 6 years.
