It would be bearable if it was logical threads about why we lost. But they usually boil down to "how can we keep this from happening in the future", and the answers are usually trade whoever or bench whoever or "that coach needs to run the offense". In the last loss to Indiana, there wasn't anything we really did wrong. We just missed the shots. We couldn't get the ball to Yao late, but when we got him the ball he missed the shots. Artest tried taking the ball to the hole but he just missed the shots. The guy with the stats is onto something. We're still a great defensive team, we can get to the line and make the free throws. Now we just need to make our shots. We know our guys are capable of making shots, they just need to make them.
Things Im happy about: 1. Chuck Scolandry 2. Yao is getting back to form 3. Shane is back 4. This is just the beginning of the season and obviously it can take some time to gel, the best is yet to come 5. Aaron Brooks has shown he is a solid backup pg 6. Dude... we got Ron Artest... that is gonna make a big difference when it counts 7. Despite our troubles we are first in the Southwest
Whoops missed this thread when I started my thread. Anyway there's nothing wrong with two positive threads.
I'm thankful for AB cause everytime he makes one of his tear drops it gives me hope that maybe Rafer will make one eventually.
The rockets didn't have Artest, Barry, super sophmore Brooks, super sophmore Landry and super sophmore Scola (Scola struggled the 1st half of season) last season. All those guys are new additions outside of Scola and Landry. So in my opinion if they can stay somewhat healthy ie.(Yao-T-Mac), they should be vying for the best record in west after 50 to 60 games when the good teams start to seperate themselves from the pack. I expect them to have at least two long winning streaks before the season is over and I foresee Artest, Brooks, Landry and Barry becoming a very formidable bench by seasons end. I'm not trying to be positive, I'm just trying to call it (be objective) the way I see it, if this team can stay healthy.
