call me a fan of da' bears but: Rockets will score one hundred and four-t' points to da four-teen for da' Hawks Strap on a uni Rudy T and do it for da' fans
Hawks 249 Rocks 4 The team is overcome with a wave of "Cato" and just lumber around the court doing nothing. With seconds remaining, both Calvin Murphy and Rudy T. score for our only points.
In a wake of Cato's scandalist performance. Rudy will make Wilis his starting Center with a win on game opener! I wonder if there is a team will take Cato!!!HHMMM!
You're right that Atlanta is a pretty good team, but if you're saying our guys haven't played enough games together that aplies to Atlanta too. Rockets win. 107-89
Yes, I'm picking Atlanta to make the playoffs, but it's ironic that you would say that the Rockets haven't played enough games together. This statement is definitely one that covers the Hawks as well. They will have 4 new starters compared to this time last year. It will take time to develop that chemistry. The game will be close but I like the Rockets to pull it out.
Wel ive had some thoughts and well i have decided this thread is gonna be their home. but first i know these atlanta guys havnt played enough together, hell its almost an entirely new team, but in the preaseason they at least got a feel together. with our guys so much has changed that we dont even know who should start at the 4 or 5 rice hasnt played at all, and he is slotted to be our 3 KT is slotted to play 4, and he has been a backup his whole career(i do think he will outplay his expectations) and cato, although showing some promise again, is still cato, and well i know he hasnt proven anything yet. ok, on to my thoughts. yes i said cuttino should lead this team in scoring against atlanta. well he should, but i also think he will lead for the season barring any strange emergences of other players, or injury. Cat is the best ppm guy on the rockets. its true he just is. he is one of the better PPm guys in the league. as a starter rudy gave the cat over 40 mpg. i seriously wouldnt be suprised if this season cuttino was one of the league leaders in MPG. I truely belive that cat will average near the 24mph mark with 5-6 rebs, and 3 assists. you see both our guards assist numbers will go up as the zone is more likely to create situations where the nba assist can be tallie(spot shooting) where slashing often involves a dribble, and there goes the assist. so as far as steve. well he will probably stay above the 20 ppg, but not by much. sure he could push it higher, and in some games he will score like mad, but steve should get about 9 assists per this season and his rebounds should drop to around 5 per as far as our win total, well im thinking 48 would be nice, but i really cant say. i am still so bummed about loosing jackson that cant give the other big men enough credit to pull out 50 wins i should add more to this as i havnt fully explained my reasons, but i fear being late for work. peace
I'd rather see Steve average 20 and 9...rather than 25 and 4. Also I expect Cat to average 22 to 26 ppg this season. Both guards will still have above avg. rebounding figures.
Hawks 89 Rockets 103 Stevie dominates the 3rd quarter and goes off for 26 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds. Rockets 49W and 33L this season (7th seed in the Western Conference Playoffs). The defensive improvement (thanks to the addition of T Morris and E Griffin) and the veteran leadership of iron-man Kevin Willis are the biggest reasons for improvement this season. Stevie starts to believe and stays on as a Rocket long-term.
