Must have Boston confused with LA? Boston gave a blue chip prospect (Al J), as well as Minny's own top 3 pick back to them, not to mention gerald green and sebastian telfair (who all turned out to be busts but were seen as promising prospects at the time). Anyway, what I look forward to most in the Mchale era is communication and practical application. As all of us are already aware, our teams has quite a few talented knuckleheads. Mchale is someone who could put these knuckleheads back on track before they squander away their talents. Secondly, yes we do have CD working on our bigs, but CD has basically become a big man's coach, he's not involved in the plays. Mchale though can teach this big men when and how to apply the techniques CD has taught them. IMHO the biggest reasons our Hill has flopped is not because he doesn't know the moves, its he doesn't know how to get in position to use them. For example, CD can teach Hill how to do a jumphook. Mchale oth, can teach Hill to get in the position to unleash that jumphook, and maybe even a few sneaky steps to get a few cheapshots in while unloading that hookshot. CD can teach the theoretical, Mchale can show them the practical applications of the techniques they learned.
