.... that all the deals he's ever done felt fairly lop-sided for us. Yet we've never won anything. Blame the injuries to Yao and T-Mac; what team could have withstood the loss of their top two players and excelled. The one exception to my observation about DM trades might be the Battier trade... and I'm a big Battier fan. For some reason, I always WANT the young guys. I like the idea of building through the draft. Are there any other deals that don't feel like WIN-win?
A mid-first round pick could turn out to be someone else who busts out of the league in a few years. I still wish we had T-Will on the squad. I think he's a victim of McHale's harshness. BTW, I don't remember a preponderance of people being against that trade when it was executed.
Mannnnn no you didn't I darn near spit up my drink Had me choking (not another Sandusky photo please) Dude is trash complete utter filthy pathetic trash. I have 4 kids so... Ya. Pink Floyd-the wall We don't need no education We don't need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey teacher leave them kids alone All in all it's just another brick in the wall All in all you're just another brick in the wall
Right now, all the trades are spinning the wheels - even Budinger for 18 is just a meh move...... Clearly he is trying, but he needs to do more - or find a willing trade partner or it is right back to the number 9 spot. DD

Why are you hating on this trade? T-Will at the time was a young lottery prospect that Morey got for basically nothing. He just didn't get playing time at all. He was never given the chance and yes he's a bonehead but he is talented and athletic. The Garm is talking about a bad trade, not a small deal like getting terrance williams.
This could change tonight IF he makes trades for both Dwight and Williams...Give up more to have the chance to sign Williams and make up for it. Not sure what's going on, but it's about to start!
I consider that fair game; I just don't reach the same conclusion. Anytime you toss off a Round 1 pick, it's a big deal. Ask New Jersey/Brooklyn. Is the flushing of T-Will reflective of Morey or McHale? That being said, I still think T-Will could settle into a nice role in the NBA. I was hacked when they got rid of him. He still hasn't had significant chance in games. He must be some kind of knucklehead. Hope he gets control of it.
Battier trade was 100% Morey. Van Gundy said it in the media. It has Win-Now $Ball all over it. No one on the Rockets has ever publicly denied Morey didn't bring the deal to the table. If you don't see that, you're just not paying attention.
