Going from: Deshaun Watson (serial rapist, world class piece of ****, and now awful QB) Jack Easterby (sanctimonious snakeoil salesman and part time grima wormtongue impersonator) BOB/Lovie/Culley (a revolving door of hasbeens and neverweres) Cal McNair (Tommy Boy completely in over his head) to: CJ Stroud (once-in-a-generation talent and not a world class piece of ****) Nick Caserio (actually a GM and certifiably not stupid) Demeco (beloved son whom is wise beyond his years) Hannah McNair (young, stunning, and uncharacteristically charismatic owner) Has got to be the most drastic and sudden turnaround in the history of pro sports.
Lots of talk about him being a hot commodity...is he bringing 2019/20 Derrick Henry wherever he goes?
I think he's another "Great Coordinator, Bad/Mediocre Head Coach" guys (Wade Phillips, Norv Turner...)
Oh, okay, I gotcha. My comment was actually supporting Henry in a "Is Vrabel taking Henry with him cuz he was the main factor in whatever success Vrabel (and Possum Holler) had during his tenure." dig at Vrabel. I wouldn't want him (Henry) at this point though. Over 30 and, while he had a pretty good season overall behind that terrible O-Line, I think we got a pretty good luck at the future during the 2 Texans games. I'd rather let some other team gamble on whether he's got anything left in the tank.
Nice call. I was hopeful we would win 9 or 10 games, but didn't know if that would be enough for the division.
I actually think it's a mistake firing Vrabel. For what he had, I think he did a decent job the last couple years, and for his first few years far out-performed the talent he had available. But I'm glad the Titans got rid of him, as I don't know they'll get someone better. So maybe we don't have to worry about them for a while.
