Lets pull out the Spurs handbook and tank the season to get the #1 pick Tim Duncan....err i mean Vince Young. I know he has a year left but he is from Houston. Then trade Carr to someone for a decent O-Line man. It's not like Young needs a great line anyways. At least then it would be alot funner to watch the games. Then again, why is this orange blood pooring out of me?
How about Reggie McNeal from A&M? He is fast as hell and has a better arm than Young. He can get outside the pocket and burn you with his legs or arm. Better yet draft Reggie and Vince and trade Carr's sorry butt.
NO to Reggie McNeil. We need logical a pick like a franchise LT, not a homer pick in Vince Young or Reggie McNeil.
RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART-RESTART!!! Powering off... I am sick of playing right now. I think I want to play the basketball game right now cuz this football game is depressing.
This teams 1st mistake was Draft Boselli 2nd was drafting Carr and letting him play the 1st year Letting him get crushed 72 times. . .what the hell did that prove? he was tough??? Ok now he is HAPPY FEET Rocket River
Drafting Boselli was not a mistake as it allowed the Texans to get Seth Payne and Gary Walker, which is still 2/3rds the starting D-Line. The mistake was not getting an adequate back-up or replacement and patching together an O-line that is made up of guards playing out of position. Carr getting crushed 72 times the first year was a rude awakening to this team, especially management. It should have been a red light that the O-line should have been and still is the most important position to fill. But Casserly decided to to draft QB's instead. We're in year 4, Carr now has happy feet because of last season with memories of the previous two. In his third year he probably expected to have some protection, hell I expeced him to have some protection, unfortunately he doesn't and now is afraid to get hit, and I don't blame him. The thing that bothers me is that the first three years there was never continuity for the O-line. From man-to-man blocking, to zone blocking, to different personnel getting moved from one position to the next, plugging in second and third stringers from other teams into the starting job for this one. There is no wonder why the O-line continues to have problems.
The Texans should hit restart, then pull the controller out and smash it on the ground, breaking it so that they can only play single player and their friends can't come to their house and kick their ass in their own game anymore.
Drafting him wasn't a mistake, it was the expansion draft. It's not like some other team would have picked him instead or they had to give anything up for him. Relying on him to be there (and not coming up with an adequate replacement or replacements) was the mistake.
nothing in this man's history [recent at the time] said he could be the IRON MAN anchor to your line they picked up damaged goods. . then over paid him Rocket River
