I say we try to resign Dunta long-term after this season assuming he shows that he can still play at a high level.

Then draft a safety in the first round. Possibly a DT in the second round, but not sure if that is our second biggest need. We will know by draft time.

I heard that they might move Smith to the inside during games to give Barwin more downs. This seems like a reasonable idea.

Fred Bennett looks terrible out there. Cant cover and cant tackle worth s***. That td run Bell made it looked like he ducked and just waved at his leg. Top 2 needs next offseason/draft DT and DB.

To be honest I wouldn't have a problem if we draft exclusively at those two positions...ONLY...Somethings gotta stick.

McAllister: it looks like he's still a FA because of his history of injuries. I'm speculating that he and his agent are looking for a contract above his market value, either in years or dollars or both.

I believe that's only for obvious passing downs - Barwin hasn't been nearly as effective against the run as he has been pressuring the QB.

Travis Johnson might help when he returns, if only as a part time contributer - he's abysmal getting penetration, but he's decent as a space eating gap filler.

    DT by committee.
