Exactly. All the more reason for them to be fired.

    Some high praise here

"Joe Burrow like, the game is slow for him, he's the closest QB to prime aaron rodgers to come out of the draft since prime aaron rodgers"

    The whole clip is great

Only 5’11 with a Joe Burrow type arm. Wow

That clip did not say his arm was Joe Burrow like. Try harder.

Are you saying you don’t want him now? I thought he was your guy?

What? I’m saying Bryce’s arm is similar to Joe B. Of course I want him. He plays the most important position and the kid is an elite talent. Joe B has a helluva arm so it was a compliment.

I'm for your plan B and draft a QB in 2024.

I would be hard pressed to give you a blueprint on how Peyton Manning could possibly thrive here under tutelage of those two.

Before this season I don't think you would have been able to find anyone who didn't think Pep was a good QB coach.

I was one of those. Sadly he is mainly responsible for Mills' regression and if you look at his offense in general its outdated and unimaginative. Add Bryce Young here and he will get killed every Sunday and this franchise will waste another year with these coaches. Clean slate and Im on board with Young as the pick. Not with the same coaches.

Coaching QBs and scheming an offense/calling players are two(three) different things.

Is he to blame for Mills regression? Or does Mills just suck like a lot of the analysts who were down on him last year said? I have no idea.

I'm fine with a clean slate. I think the whole situation is so fubar that there's no way to evaluate anyone with any certainty.

Thats fair, but do you personally think Mills looked better with Tim Kelly calling plays? I do as batshit crazy as that sounds. Prior to the season I was all hyped up thinking about the QBs Pep had worked with and his reputation and was willing to give Mills the benefit of the doubt, but its been a big fat dud. Most of that is on Mills, but Pep isnt doing him any favors IMO. Tempo is off. No weekly wrinkles in game plans. We even had a great running game this season and the OL wasnt as putrid as it had been. Nothing to really get Mills going. Nothing in the passing concepts to create open receivers. Im not at all impressed by Pep Hamilton it was supposed to look much better.

but what if Youngs only demand is he and his current Alabama OC are a package deal and he is the new HC/OC/GM of the Texans?

Texans won't take him. He's the obvious choice so they'll go in another direction. The Texans are basically a religious/cult of personality institution - they don't operate based on logic. I promise you that Young doesn't fit Caserio's vision of what a quarterback should look like. Other teams rely on tape, data, and interviews, but the Texans will rely on Nick's vision like he's a prophet or something.

I think Nick is a smart guy, but the Stingley pick proved to me that he thinks differently than most people. Almost everyone wanted Sauce, but somehow Nick just knew better. Now Stingley is on IR. I honestly don’t know what he’ll do at qb, but it’s hard to be too confident in someone whose process diverges so much from the norm.
