I hope so.. I think Ewers is that dude and will show it now that he's had a year under his belt.. I expect some pretty gaudy numbers and an invite to NY.
Yeah, it's the first week of spring practice, of course Sark said that on day 1. Manning's running 3rd team reps
OK. Tell me where the Panthers are placing their money. This is the problem with promoting gambling by the participants.
Lol why do you hate him so much? Saying a guy that’s a projected top 2 pick has zero upside is insane to me.
All hype. But even the pundits don’t believe he has upside. He’s a lumbering athlete with a good arm that hasn’t been tested. It remains to be seen how he processes, reads the field and can manipulate coverages. He hasn’t had to, but that is where he’s going to be elite at-if he can.
Ohio State’s offense has never required the QB to read the whole field, they read either half the field or a third, relying on good OL play to help develop plays. The QBs from Ohio State can make the throws they are required to make all the time, but superior route running leads to more open lanes for the QB to throw in. They struggle with fitting passes into the tight windows that they see in the NFL. Hence why there hasn’t been a successful QB that’s come out of Ohio State in years(I’m personally not sold on Fields yet, but there is promise there). Strout has shown the best ability to fit throws into tight windows out of any recent Ohio State QB, why so many have put stock in the Georgia game. Ohio State has a high hit rate on linemen, currently hold the title of WRU, and have elite coaches, but they don’t put good QBs in the league. Stroud could change that, but to me I haven’t seen anything that says he will. He’s very mid.
Going by that logic you would have passed up on Mahomes. He pretty much played in a 7 on 7 type offense. Each qb is different no matter what school. Who was the last successful LSU qb before joe burrow?
