Great find! I see the PG skills and a little bit of the mini-Mahomes references. A couple of things to highlight...
    - Makes really quick decisions, some of this is play design, but hard to not see he processes quickly
    - Moves well in the pocket, but AL usually gave him a clean pocket
    - He's able to take a hit
While I really wish he was bigger, if our staff drafts him I'll be super excited. We'll definitely need to invest heavily in IOL to protect him.

Oh, Metchie is a beast--SUPER EXCITED to see that young man this season!!

Man. BOB did a good job of coaching Young up.

    Pass

But he's going to be the next Texans QB.

What makes Young any different than Tua or Jones?

    Except size.

Sure you’ve seen enough to see that outside of playing at Bama, Bryce and Mac Jones are completely different prospects. Tua is a better comparison although he was more injury prone which has unfortunately carried through to the NFL.

Not trying to be facetious but isn’t this like asking what’s the difference between Caleb Williams and Darnold, Maye and Howell?

That is @cmoak1982 whole argument about CJ Stroud being an Ohio State QB. You can watch Stroud and see that he is different. But cmoak says "he suck....he is an OSU QB". Dumb BS ever.

It is like saying Texas Tech QB's suck in the NFL. Then there is Mahomes.

That is one part. But not the totality. He’s terrible under pressure, and throws to wide open guys.
Also, he doesn’t look any different than Haskins did.

I understand the pressure argument but in both his bowl games, he went crazy.

Throwing to wide open WRs? You want him to throw to covered WRs? Yes, OSU offense is designed to get their WRs open but what offense isn’t? OSU WRs just do it better than the others. All this tells me is we need to target OSU WRs to go with Stroud since they always pan out. Or atleast good WRs….but what QB has succeeded without good WRs?

He’s had an inordinate amount of wide open throws to far superior talented receivers than their opposition.

Tom Brady succeeded without a real number 1 wide receiver for years. Then he got Randy Moss set all sorts of records but lost...

Greatest QB of all time is the exception? Makes sense.

So we knock him because his WRs are good too? I don’t understand that. He showed out against Utah and Georgia in his bowl games.

I also don’t understand how you attack him for not running the ball. You posted a video of every one of his runs. All but one (or two) he received big shots. Sounds like he’s smart enough to not take a big hit. He gets out or down in time which would extend his career. He’s had big runs in his career as well. Most of his slander is because he’s an OSU QB.

Most of the slander is he’s not the prospect others are. He’s hyper inflated because of where he played.
He got lit up in almost every run in that video, he can’t make anyone miss.

Ans yes, you can’t claim he’s super accurate and has great arm talent when he throws to wide open superior talent. What happens when the playing field is level or the flip side of what he had in college.
You keep bringing up two playoff games (they lost) like that makes up for all the other times he was bad during pressure.

They beat Utah and he put them in field goal position to beat Bama. Kicker missed it by a mile.

I see a good player. Especially in the Shannon offense.

To be fair, I think he can be good. But not great.
He’s somewhere between Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff and Jacoby Brissett, Jameis Winston. With a bottom out at Haskins

I prefer someone with higher upside.
