The Texans HAVE to draft Bryce Young

This is it right here. Bryce Young could win a Super Bowl and these posters would still be going on and on about how he’s too small.

 

I said he might come in under 5’10, which I was 1/8th of an inch off. He’s short. There is no discussion about that, he’s the shortest QB to come out in over 30 years.
His own camp said he was gaining weight and he wanted to get to 195, which means he was below that. Anybody that has any idea of the way athletes function knows that he is heavy, he’s not going to play at 204. It’s not in his frame.

There were multiple people claiming he was 5’11 or 6’. He’s closer to 5’9 than 5’11


Also, no one said 190 would affect his mobility. But an additional 15 lbs of bad weight will.

How confident are you that he will win a Super Bowl? Or even stay healthy?

I’m not confident that any QB will win a Super Bowl if they haven’t already. The chance is extremely small for any QB in the nfl.

 

He wasn’t 204. His own camp said he wanted to get to 195/200.
Which means he was lighter than that

 

Specially for one that has zero elite physical attributes

 

Meant body testing but yes he won’t be doing drills. Will be interesting to see what he does at his pro day in a few weeks.

Yes. 204 will affect his mobility, that’s why he won’t be playing at that weight. Simple to understand

If he’s not playing at 204, which I 100% agree with, why would you be concerned that his mobility will be affected.

 

What do you not understand? I said he won’t play at 204. More like 190. 204 will affect his mobility.

And playing at 190, he would be one of the smallest players on the field, not good.

 

Wouldn't you want to pick the QB that you thought would give you the best chance to win a SB?

 

How about 195-200? I’m gonna assume too heavy then? It really seems like he’s in no-win situation with some of y’all. It’s all good though, def one of the most polarizing prospect we’ve seen in a while.

 

Since you seem to know how to pick QBs better than anyone. Can you predict which of the current prospects has the best chance of winning a SB?

You stick any QB on the Texans teams we’ve had over the last 5 years and they aren’t winning a SB. The reality is, if it was easy to figure out there wouldn’t be so many 1st round busts. It’s a combination of team, coaching, mental makeup, poise, accuracy, and a host of other factors. QB size is probably the least important factor.
