Absolutely I believe it, he IS a turnover prone QB, we just need to build the right defense to take advantage of it.

The problem with that will be that teams will know that he can't burn them deep because there won't be the time for it and he's not good at those throws anyway. If you know he has to go with short routes all the time, it makes them MUCH easier to defend. When you are anticipating short routes, you can jump them leading to picks. There isn't any really awesome QB's in this entire draft so I won't worry who Jacksonville picks out of them.

That doesn't follow. Luck is a QB, the prospect of him getting better would mean that we'd need to work on our defense, not our offense.

Pretty sure most of these TB votes are pre-draft combine.

It's a bunch of hard core Teddy disciples around here who think all is lost if the Texans don't draft this kid so that number may not change much.

You're so effin annoying. Just because people think Teddy should be the pick doesn't mean that we're gonna jump off a cliff if he isn't. I'm fine with Teddy or Clowney.

Stop showing your age and go back to nut huggin Manziel.

Salary isn't a factor if we have Robinson at half the price of the average starting LT it won't kill us to have one of our best players being slightly over paid on the right side.

    It's a wash

I'm not going to google it... But starting LTs on long contracts are not usually even up for discussion in trades. Especially since brown signed for a hometown discount

We can get at least 2nd or 3rd rounder as well so e salary relief

If the shoe doesn't fit _ STFU... But I guess it does in your case so that's why you're defending yourself. And I hope to heck they don't draft another dude out of South Carolina. We stuck our hands in that cookie jar last year and came out with D.J... Lol...

And I don't want the Texans to draft Johnny either. Sorry to disappoint you.

DJ played well at the end of the season.

You must have missed that part when you were watching the games?

You are the worst poster in the texans forum. Easily.

I've never seen around these parts before so it's safe to say that you're a JOF.

So you've been debating about Manziel over Teddy and you don't even want him? Who's your guy?

I think when the Texans sign Cassell (not saying I'm a fan) it'll become more obvious that we're going to draft Clowney.

I am a fan of drafting Mack via trade down to Cleveland, and taking the best defensive prospect avaliable with the late first.

    That's if we don't take Teddy/Clowney.

I'm just not sure a trade down will be as easy as all that, there has to be someone wanting to trade up and there really isn't that many prospects in this draft worth it. From what people are saying, Cleveland is high on Derek Carr....they don't have to trade up to get him.

That said, if they are stupid enough to give up their 2 first rounders and their second rounder, we HAVE to jump on that.

Might as well make peace with it now, it's almost certainly going to happen.

Sammy Watkins. Who is the best player available and a game changing playmaker. Or Robinson.

And just because YOU haven't seen me before doesn't mean I haven't been around. But you can label me a JOF all you want if it makes you feel better.

That's pretty much the scenario I see playing out as well. Cassell will probably be the QB next year and we'll pick a guy in a later round who will be getting groomed for the future spot.
