Yes, but that's a rumor. We have no idea if that's what they would get offered or not. I would take a trade down for two #1 as well, but I don't think they'll get offered that much.
Funny, I thought the exact opposite. Means the Texans don't have him, pushes someone else lower (incase we trade down to 6) and they did not take Johnny so we don't have to play him twice a year.
That's only because you and most Texans fans think Blake suxks when mostly everyone else in the NFL world thinks Blake is legit. Texans fans know all....
Everyone in the NFL world including (Mike Mayock) and these Jags thought Blaine Gabbert was legit. Showed us all that we were full of it huh!!! Blake Bortles = Blaine Gabbert 2.0
Mike Mayock is a media scout, but I don't remember people like Warren Moon coming out speaking up for Gabbert like he did for Blake. And Blake accomplished a lot more in college than Gabbert IMO. Just the same I respect Moon's opinion about quarterbacks over Mayock. But hey, you may be right... Just like you were right for calling me crazy because I said Teddy wasn't worth a #1 pick back in January before all the off-season activities... Oh wait...!!!
Again. Thats your opinion. People have regreted on passing on a few QBs for the top can't miss prospect who have regreted it in the long run. You know the list of examples. I don't have to run thru them again. And who's to say he won't be once they start playing the games that actually matter more than modeling contests.. I mean scouting combines and such. You guys are hilarious. One moment Mayock is the say all of the league when it benefits your take then the next he's just another media guy saying he loves everyone like Jon Gruden. Hilarious m
Mike Mayock was driving the Teddy Bridgewater bandwagon back in January and I wasn't on board with him. So you can't lump me in that group. And I didn't say Mike is just another media guy _ I said he is a media scout. And some scouts who actually work for NFL teams (like my uncle) view him as such.
There are stock risers and fallers between every combine and NFL draft. A lot of those are based on the media touting guys and other scouts/GMs making it seem like he should be a top guy when he's really not. The Patriots fooled the dumbass Jets into thinking they wanted Vernon Gholston. Jokes on them they really were after Jerod Mayo all along and got the better player out of the two. There are tons of mind games being played around this time of year. Ryan Nassib to Buffalo was a more recent one with their first overall pick last year. They ended up going EJ Manuel who was a projected mid to late second rounder. All this stuff that we hear is worth taking with a grain of salt until the selections are made on draft day. Oh you uncle, would that be Uncle Bob. Yeah he's everybodies uncle around here.
Haha on the uncle. And on everything else you said... What's your point...??? All I said was I'd hate to see the Jags draft Blake. I didn't say they were going to draft him. You say Blake is Gabbert... Moon disagrees with you. And so do I.
I meant your point of telling me all of that. Your point has nothing to do with what I said. But thanks for the reading material. Moving on.

Ironically, that would be the fastest return to relevancy for the Texans. Put Romo on this team and the Texans are a lock for the playoffs with a real shot to go deep. The Texans have a lot more existing talent on the defensive side of the ball than the Cowboys have had the last few years.
