They don't get it, it was always designed to be a 3 year tank.

I appreciate that you've been consistent about this through the whole thing.

A lot of people that wanted to tank have found out they don't have a stomach for it after all, 2 years in and they want off. People want Stone gone even though I remember them saying it would be a 3 year thing AT LEAST.

I warned how bad it would look. I warned that its hard to develop players in a losing environment, that sometimes tanking teams remain in that state for season after season after season hoping the next guy they draft turns it all around.

I mean that's very clearly whats going on, I never see a team go away from the hot player as much as I see this team do, sometimes the coach just sitting said hot player whose clearly playing well on the bench for way too long.

But you've been consistent so props for that. But this is what I've said that whole time that its hard to develop players in this environment. Its the blind leading the blind out there and hopefully next season they bring in vet players so that these guys can learn how to play winning basketball.

The owner? He mucked up the team to begin with but seems to be not interfering. I think the players would be fine if you had the right coach.

You as well. It was all about keeping expectations in check with reality by focusing more on actions rather than rhetoric coming from the front office.

It was just going to be a tough, multi year rebuild unless there was a lot of luck involved like a "Ja" falling to you (which might have been Banchero in our case) or be very bold like going for Haliburton before the Pacers did.

You prob also thought Green wasn’t developing the first half of last season … and didn’t listen when the coaching staff said they had him focusing on doing things that he’s not comfortable doing….

And it paid off the end of last year

like I said before…unless you work for the Rockets development / analytic department…you have no idea what’s going on.

KM crying because he wants KMJ to get more time - parents do that

Eason mom crying - parents do that

No one is criticizing the Rockets, just like they not criticizing the Spurs or Hornets because they know what the end goal is.

Stone wife liking a tweet to protect her Husband who is mainly responsible for the mess of a roster y’all expect Silas to win with.

We have 2 primary ballhandlers and one is hurt (if you don’t count Nix and TyTy)

We have a disgruntled SG playing SF - half assing on D

We have 2 Forwards that can’t shoot the 3 at all (KMJ and Tate) and 2 that are rookies (Bari and Eason)

The team went from sucking at rebounding to winning the battle most games and #1 in offensive rebounds

We are #4 in quality shots

problem is we shoot 30% from 3 and suck at defending the 3 …you can’t win getting outscored by 15-20 pts from 3 every night…

    that’s a skill / talent issue

I disagree with not having the stomach for it.

A little b****ing and moaning are part of the journey, no need to go all philosopher on it.

I think folks are tougher than they let on.

Unless Harden comes back a changed man then no, lets assume Wembanyama is at some point as good as Embiid and Green as good as Maxey or Harris... But with an older fatter and even slower Harden. If he can't win it all with hose guys he won't win it all here...

For the second half of the season, being dead last is not a bad place. Being .500 right now is far far far worse.
