So, Taco Bell asks you to round up your cents order to help gets get an education - which is great, really good. However, each store has a target of like $5k per month, and they directly take that off their profit margin and get tax writeoffs on YOUR money. It makes their stores more profitable - so I suggest you donate and get the tax break yourself. If Taco Bell was SERIOUS they would match the donation....they don't they just use your money for their tax break. DD
You do realize that addressing your*** Taco Bell problem outside of the reasons you mentioned would help in greater regard?! if you go there enough to know about the cents they round up you just said a lot already
My local Sonic lets you round up (and tip a buck or whatever) and that money actually goes to the people who bring your food out to your car, so I'm totally cool with that. The worst dystopian future I've ever seen was when Sandy Bullock announced that "all restaurants are now Taco Bell"
When I read the title I thought it was going to be about how Taco Bell ingredients contain troubling amounts of glyphosate (via weed killer Round Up) and providing yet another reason why people shouldn't eat Taco Bell if they can avoid it.
I’ve donated so much in part from wanting to help and the other from guilt. Now everyone is doing it. So I’m out.
A friggin’ RIPOFF is what it is. I bought four USDA Choice top sirloin steaks and baked some potatoes for lees than the jacked-up Taco Bell prices. And Taco Bell food is $hit quality. F that.
So many people do it, that it amounts to like $5k per store.......I am sure the charities are grateful - the point is that TBell should be matching the donation to get the tax benefit. It is a scam. DD
