Beverly has played his role well last game. Stepped up when Jeremy is off.

But don't overestimate. Obviously Beverlys not on other team scouting reports yet. Remember Linsanity streak?

I had a good feeling about Beverly the moment I saw the news we signed him. Great role player for this team. The thing that impressed me the most was he was a shot creator this game with those contested floaters; I can't wait to see him develop to the point where he can do that against better defensive teams.

I have a feeling his production will sag a bit now that he is getting big minutes and will start making the scouting report. My thought watching the game was that Orlando acted like the guy was invisible, unworthy of attention. And they didn't learn better no matter how many steals and buckets he got.

Very happy with Beverley. He seems to be the only one that knows defense. He is always on the move at both ends of the court. He has a nice shooting touch and can drive and finish at the basket. Good court vision and gets the ball usually to others for assists.

He has had some stinko games though but he seems to be a keeper. Nice European find. Hard to come into the NBA and be a rookie and play at this level.

Dude gambles like crazy on defense. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesnt. He also neglects backcourt duties, aka getting back on defense in favor of gambling for offensive rebounds. When those plays work, it looks good. However, its not a smart consistent way to play basketball.

Has been playing smarter and more consistently then the starter so I am happy with him.

here i am coming again. i did same thing when ppl were high on t-rob. you can check that thread regarding t-rob. it looks like i am winning on that battle, of coz in bad way. i rather see he can be better than what we have seen in the last two games.

beverley is beverley. there is a reason he went to other countries to play. those games in third country means nothing comparing to nba. now, he played good in one game. everyone is starting to jump on his wagon. i won't. i will take wait and see approach. i really doubt he is going to be a starting pg in this league.

dude Beverly has been solid in almost all of his games. Why do you take this as a slight to Lin every time?

This is absolutely ridiculous.. This is like someone saying..

"Lin is Lin, there's a reason he got tossed from team to team to play. Those few games where he flashed in the pan means nothing comparing to what he's doing as a full time starter in the NBA. He has played good in some games, now every LOF is driving his wagon.. and only his wagon (can't be pleased with anyone else's play). I won't. I'll take a wait and see approach."

That's because your head is stuck up Lin's rear end. There have been other American players who had to go overseas, but came back and became very good/solid starters in this league.

Who cares what everyone else says? I'm sorry I'm not understanding the rest of your argument. The comments in the "Fire Mchale thread" will tell you about the sheer amount of stupidity when it comes to things like this. The fact is, and I'll repeat it again, Beverly has been really solid. This is coming from a big Brooks fan, the guy that is supposed to eat into his minutes. :p

AggNRox are you posting from China and using a translator btw? I think that may be the reason it sounds a bit incoherent.

Dude Beverly played great in the 4th quarter, no ifs and no buts... being a Rockets fan and a Lin fan as well I do not blame McHale for not taking out Beverly in the 4th at all. I do blame him for taking Lin out so early in the 1st quarter (Bucks game too) and bringing him back so late in the 2nd. Thats all. He needs to work on substituting Lin at the right time. When Lin is hot, keep him in just like he did with Beverly tonight.

Lin has been sick and injured these last couple of games. He needs to keep his starters from being burnt out too much especially down this important stretch.

i am not sure where your head is stuck up, probably rear end of horse pulling beverley's wagon.

omg, you tell me you trust beverley more than lin. you believe one game performance is better than consecutive 12-game performance (before all star of the last season).:eek::eek:
