I may be early in saying this, and I know a lot of you will disagree... But Ty Lawson does not seem to be playing well.

There are a lot of strange things going on that require explanation. Like... why does Capella get great alleyoop passes time after time but Dwight, who can jump just as well, doesnt. I wish I could sit in during some of their sessions viewing tape and see what the coaches are pointing out and what they are ignoring.

I think a lot of it is that dwight doesn't set very good screens, often he releases before the ball handler has even taken one dribble he just kind of shows and goes making it easy for the defense to recover.

This team is improving it just sucks that we're losing some of these close games you would hope we could squeak out of.

The Miami game is inexcusable that should have been a win with how well we played In the first half up 20. The Knicks game should have been a win but you no who couldn't play 15 min on a back to back to give us some big man depth. And we really should have won one or two of celtics/nets/Denverx2/ dallas games. That would have put us right in the thick of things with all the rest of the so called contenders out west besides the Warriors and Spurs.

Overall the rockets are extremely fortunate to have 5 wins right now and also the other west teams playing mediocre basketball also. This team is a 7-3, 8-2 over next 10 games type run to be right were we wanted to be at the start of the season and that is a blessing with all that had gone wrong over the first month of the season.

This team seems to have the proper personnel to contend for a championship but it still looks like it lacks leadership. Some of us out there really undervalue great coaches that are able to put complete offenses together and also properly motivates players to play defense. I'll be one of the first to admit that I was a bit skeptical about Steve Kerr's first year as a coach and being able to take last year's Warriors team to win the trophy.

He was able to make the change from David Lee to Draymond Green, which help boost the teams offense. Then switched Andre Iguodala's role to 6th man off the bench. It did help the Warriors that Curry and company not only said they wanted to win it all but they actually collectively played together to win in the post season.

It's clear to see Harden doesn't trust Howard with the ball nor is there any confidence in Lawson to do what he needs to do. Doesn't matter if Lawson hasn't been playing at the level he's capable of playing , Lawson needs to start producing or else he's going to be shipped off to whatever team Morey always convinces to trade with us.

I don't think we should keep the hopes that Durant will want to join us in the offseason, the way we're going about our own business Howard and Lawson may be playing for other teams next year.

We have no front court and no point guard and no post play. Otherwise, we are doing great.

Dwight is playing injured, and not playing back to backs.
    Dmo is out.

Capella, while talented is not ready for big minutes.
Jones, the soft PF is often playing center.

D League bound, undersized rookie PF Harrell, is playing at center.

The PF position is often manned by Harden, Ariza and Brewer.

Harden is not a point guard in by any stretch of the imagination. Having the ball in his hands the most doesn't make him a point guard.

No one else is playing the point.

There is no post up plays. We don't have anyone that can play in the post. Harden is the best at it right now and it's iffy at best.

Do those fancy screens that are above each lockers show that player's stats/PER? Anyone with a single digit PER should be ashamed.

Came in to camp out of shape. Nobody but Trevor Ariza is playing consistent defense. I want to see more KJ

Go back and watch the Portland game again. What you will see is Harden constantly either shooting, driving, or skip-passing before Dwight even gets set. Don't know how anybody can watch that and come away saying Dwight sets bad picks when he doesn't even get the opportunity to set them before Harden has aborted the play.

In the Grizzly game, they only ran 2 pick-and-rolls the whole game. The first one, Harden actually waited for Dwight to set the pick and it ended with Harden throwing it high for a dunk to Dwight. Second one ended with Harden throwing it to the corner.

So, last 2 games, Harden aborts practically every attempted PnR before Dwight even gets out top to plant and the second one they only run 2 PnR's the whole game. Are you sure this is Dwight's fault?
