Bill Belichek is the best coach in the NFL, bar none and Tom Brady is outstanding. Congrats to the Pats.
Atleast the Vinitarei field goal assures we'll be hearing about him, from him instead of Tom "Played Out" Brady for the next couple of months.
It helps a little but i think the media will even further hype Brady after this game since he had a very solid game. I just hope they dont further the Montana comparison.
Good game, but if I ever meet Kasay, he's gonna get quite a butt kickin'. I'll be surprised if he can ever show his face in Carolina again.
I disagree, 354yrds, 3td's and 1 int is solid. Branch was have also been a good choice with 10 catches, 143yds and a TD. It always goes to the QB over the WR when they both play well. .
some of those plays were pure miracles!! That 85 yard bomb was like a god sent! To bad they couldnt get a win out of it!
Welll that's a copout if I've ever seen one, when I told my mom about the halftime show (she was at church) her comment was no wonder the Muslims think we are a bunch of degenerates. Please don't take this the wrong way, my mom ment no harm or to dispearage anyone except maybe us and the way we choose to entertain ourselves, and if anyone says anything bad about mom I'd be tempted to hunt them down and do very bad things to them so don't do it.
I dunno... back in SB 23, when the Niners beat the Bengals on Montana's historic last TD drive, and his pass to J. Taylor, Jerry Rice was actually the one who got MVP. Granted, he had 200 somethin yards recieving, and like 11 catches, but you figured Montana would get it simply b/c of that last drive. But, this was...in my opinion... the BEST SUPERBOWL EVER! Here's how it compares to the other greats: 1.) The Rams vs. Pats 2002 was just an ugly game until the very very end... plus, there was much higher expectations for the Rams to play well. 2.) Same with the Rams vs. Titans in 2000...a rather boring game throughout, until a couple of big plays in the 4th quarter, and that final drive by McNair. 3.) SB25 with the Giants vs. Bills... Norwood's miss. That game had similiar drama, but wasn't as high-scoring, and we had to watch the Giants run the ball virtually every play. This game had lead changes, huge game-breaking plays, offensive execution, defensive execution, and a game winning FG by a guy who had historically had trouble in this stadium, but is a clutch kicker.
No kidding it was a copout. There is no way that CBS execs didnt know exactly what was going to happen with the halftime show. The superbowl is the most important thing CBS broadcasts all year.
I should hope not. What was the NFL thinking anyway, letting that gang of degenerates produce it anyhow?
