It's a nice thought, but this particular post basically mirrors "the suns got lucky." The 10 most recent 10th overall picks: Ziaire Williams, Jalen Smith, Reddish, Bridges, Zach Collins, Thon Maker, Justise Winslow, Elfrid Payton, McCollum, Rivers. The 10 most recent 13th overall picks: Chris Duarte, Kira Lewis Jr., Herro, Jerome Robinson, Mitchell, Papagiannis, Booker, Lavine, Olynyk, Kendall Marshall. The picks from 10th overall aren't great at all, for where they were picked.. And Bridges was even a draft day trade from Philly to Phoenix. so Bridges might have fallen even further than 10, if Philly picked for themselves. The picks from 13th overall seem good as half over the past decade have panned out or in Duarte and Herro's cases, look promising. But you look at the next 10 13th overall picks, and it's just sad. The Suns have absolutely made the right decisions in drafting Ayton, Booker and trading for Bridges on draft day. But there's definitely luck involved, for this particular case.
There you go again cherry picking stats to pump up your dumbshit opinion. You conviennetly leave out Ayton and CP3 or the fact that they got mikal bridges after Booker and Ayton yet for some reason you think they should have stopped drafting in the 1st round after getting Ayton which is your dumb frick premise. You want to actually see how many other 1st round picks they have on that roster.
Suns and Cavs are showing you can totally build a good team by tanking a lot and collecting high picks as long as you don't derp it up like Sacramento and stop tanking when you got nobody on the roster. Cavs have made the dumbest draft and trade moves in the last 2 decades, I think they got 2 great picks which also happen to be the nobrainer choices Lebron and Irving and the rest have been horrible, getting guys like Dion Waiters and Bennett with the top picks on top of reaching for players like Luke Jackson and Tristan Thompson. But a broken clock is right twice a day suddenly they got so many picks they ended up with a good team. If you keep getting chances sooner or later you'll hit the jackpot. Suns have been poorly managed but again they managed to hit on Booker, Bridges, Cam Johnson and Ayton. Of course looks like their run is about to end as they refuse to pay Ayton his money and traded Jalen Smith for essentially a 2nd rounder but hey, at least they were also good for a while. There's just something inevitable about tanking and collecting high picks, sooner or later you gonna have a good team. Oth the same can't be said for running on the mediocrity treadmill.
WHERE IS THE HIGH PICKS HERE? dont even start me on THE TOP PICKS biyombo pick no 7 devin booker pick no 13 mikal bridges 10 cameron payne 14 cam johnson 11 torey craig undrafted jae crowder 34 aaron holiday 23 kaminski 9 shamet 26 saric 12 justin jackson 15 elfrid payton 10 javale mc gee 18 rockets from the previous decade ( and countless others teams truout history) have shown you can build a good team by not even tanking tanking is for da p*****s and cowards you cant win by tanking and even if by some miracle a team could have won by tanking THAT ring is mickey mouse variety IT DOESNT COUNT AT ALL...its literally like bribing the refs.... its like winning the video game by means of cheats... its not really a win its more legit if you buy yourself a ring off e bay LOLOLOLOLOL
A lotto pick is 14th and below, these are all obtained by losing teams who didn't make the playoffs. Why are you making some sort of distinction like its ok to get 14th pick but bad to get 1st pick? Tanking is an action doesn't matter where the pick lands even a playoff team can tank to avoid an opponent. Yeah don't get started on the high picks cuz then you'll see Cavs roster is literally made out of high picks. Cavs Roster: Kevin Love 4rth Garland 5th Evan Mobley 2nd Markannen 7th Sexton 8th Okoro 5th You can win without tanking but history has shown the overwhelming majority of best players are lottery picks. For a rebuilding team like the Rockets who have no chance to win anything, you just being a clown not to tank. Rockets and Spurs literally won by tanking so you telling me every ring by Hakeem and Tim Duncan doesn't count? LMAO just stop. Nobody gives a **** how you get a ring, a ring is a ring period. You may think that doesn't count but that's just you. Try telling any Spurs fan Tim Duncan's 5 rings don't count cuz the Spurs tanked to get him and see where that gets you.
That 76ers team was fab That 76ers team was fantastic. Moses Malone, Julius Irving, ect. . I was a Celtics fan and they had some knock down drag out games with them. That Sixers team was too good
