They needed the refs to help them? I don't get it. I thought they won the West 5 years in a row. Sounds to me like they were just on another romp through the West. Folks blame Harden but no one beat the Warriors until injuries and free agency (Durant leaving) did them in.

If a team beat the Rockets, its because of the refs. Always.

Apparently there was also no possibility that the Warriors, a team who came back against KD from a 3-1 deficit, could ever have come back from a 3-2 deficit to the Rockets if CP3 was healthy, despite having outscored the Rockets in the first 5 games.

Hate him all you want but Cp3 is one of the best Pg of all time, this looks really bad on harden for not seeing that.
    ….hence why he’ll never get a ring

Imagine hating Harden so much that you blindly disagree with other Harden haters.

if they could, the refs wouldnt have been helping them so much...TAKE THAT FOR DATA

see, this is the BEST proof the rockets and harden were a better team...silver knew whats up so he needed to step up his game...the rig job is more legit then the ring because you can stumble into a ring by accident , injury lack, refs mistakes, teammates carrying you or whatever... but when the refs blatantly rig the game vs you it means THEY KNOW YOU THE BEST...

Why is everyone focusing on how lucky the Suns got and not the Bucks?

This is sports. People forget how lucky the Warriors consistently got. Now they are just an unquestioned dynasty.

Every team can use a little luck to win.

Nearly every champion has some luck along the way; and not just the staying healthy part.

Has there ever been a team in the championship that didn't have a bit of good luck?

People should just shut up about luck and injuries, there is no such thing as an asterisk championship, every team is exposed to the risk of injury, and "luck", one team wins it all.

On one hand, all championships do matter. No need for asterisk talks. On the other hand, I dont think there is a reason to be overly dismissive of injuries. Bucks and Suns got really big breaks and they are unlikely to repeat this again next year. They will have their one title and that will be it because frankly they arent on the level of normal title teams.

what is the normal title teams?
lebron and irving only got one title
lebron on lakers only 1 title in 3 seasons
if no refs help durant warriors get only 1 title

Data is that internal nba officiating report rockets made public in 2019 after they got robbed in game 1 of west semis rockets - gsw that proved rockets were denied title previous year based on mistakes of referees...
    TAKE THAT FOR DATA

Lakers, Nets, Clippers and Nuggets all having injuries is significant(less so in the Nuggets case though lol). Suns and Bucks arent at that level and I have no problem saying it. You and I both know they wont repeat.

Ref work is a tad predictable, so might not just be luck.
