Something fishy about that mix with a felon and QAnon speaking. Who's supposed to be the Patriots, and how do these people represent God and Country? Is Jim Jones going to rise above the cult as part of their spiritual awakening?

I was thinking about this last night.

Many on the Left complain that Republicans always get what they want, that they stick together so much while Democrats (mainly Progressives) always have to settle for less. While Republicans while in power have gotten things like big tax cuts passed and a lot of judges I'm not sure that Republicans (especially Conservatives) always get what they want. Consider that Republicans have spectacularly and repeatedly failed repealing the ACA even though that has been a centerpiece of their campaign. On the signature issue of the border wall that became a fence, with very little built and wasn't even funded by Congress. On several social issues they couldn't stop same sex marriage, are unable to stop the march to legalization of mar1juana and most telling they still haven't been able to ban abortion outright.

One of the things frequently heard about why people cite they support Trump is that he's a fighter while many other establishment Republicans don't fight and even are RINO's. Whether fair or not there is a lot of frustration on the side of the Right and a big reason why that party has a big rift.

Democrats seem disorganized because they argue ideas and policies.
Republicans seem organized because they only serve their donors.

At first my reaction was, maybe this was taken out of context and there was a part that stated men should try to not look like a Fat **** also. But then I saw what he looked like and actually heard what he said, and was like WTH.

I'm assuming they find women who have no life aspirations outside of staying at home, cooking, cleaning, raising children and having sex with their husband. Nothing wrong with that but there are women who do think that's the ideal life.

Out of all those things I do advocate for one stay at home parent up to a certain age of the child, mom or dad if it is within financial means

There is nothing wrong with a woman who believes her life is about being a homemaker. I find it surprising though that a woman would put up with a husband or boyfriend who publicly went around talking about how important it was for women to look good just to be a trophy for their man. And then followed it up with not all women can be first place trophies so some could just be participation trophies.

I'm going to post this here rather than just repeat it in the "X is being canceled!" threads. The outcry from many on the right regarding "cancelling" of things like cartoons as an assault on free speech and free thought shows again how intellectually vapid current Conservative thought is. To the point that they are now arguing against private property rights and questioning the morality of copyrights shows that they have abandoned first principles. This was a trend that was going on when it came to Trump but is now accelerating to where the only thing that matters is "owning the libs."

So if the Libs don't like something we're going to support. If the Libs arguing on this basis we're going to reflexively argue against it even if it's a foundational part of our thinking.

Property rights are one of the key pieces of Conservative philosophy going to back to Edmund Burke and John Locke. For "Conservatives" now to argue that those go against freedom because liberals are bringing them up in regard to in to intellectual property just shows the depths that they have sunk.
