Are you honestly sitting here with a straight face saying that Facebook’s platform does more to help the Democratic Party vs the MAGA party?

Facebooks own internal study found that if you took a moderate woman from the suburbs and put her on Facebook within two days the algorithm was already recommending her join a QAnon group. Facebook knows who butters their bread and the money they give to Democrats is more of a protective measure to try and prevent regulation if Democrats have power.

Bloomberg and Steyer are sort of anomaly’s. But yes Billionaires do give to Democrats too but they shouldn’t. In order to be in the progressive caucus you cannot take dark pac money because what we see happening with Manchin and Sinema happens. The billionaires give to some Democrats for people like Manchin and Sinema to kill or severely water down bills that’ll cost them tax hikes.

With Republicans we all know they are a owned subsidiary of the fossil fuel industry among other toxic industry’s. But if a Republican is likely to lose like Trump was, the next best thing is to fund a Democrat they think they can use to tank progressive legislation that Democratic voters want that help the country. It’s wrong and it’s undemocratic. The only party that has people like Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders in it that have ran on overturning the horrible 2010 REPUBLICAN led Supreme Court decision on Citizens United is the Democratic Party. That decision said that corporations are people therefore they can donate to and buy off politicians is the root cause of everything wrong with our fractured Democracy.

So while you can rattle off this data point, it just puts a huge spotlight on the real problem in the end which is billionaires and corporations trying like hell to prevent anything from happening that helps working people that might cost them a buck… which leads to Congress doing nothing… which leads to the electorate getting royally pissed off… which leads to fascist candidates running on overturning the system to rule by fire and brimstone… which leads to January 6.

This could happen on the left too very easily. Trump probably would have preferred to be a Democrat fascist if there was an easier path to win the nomination on the left. At some point there will be a Castro like fascist who seizes the left like Trump has on the right.

So given that context….right now HR1 is a bill that blows up dark money that is supported by Democrats including Biden and opposed by ALL Republicans. Why is that? If you and others on the right are worried about a Castro like figure entering American politics on the left why wouldn’t you also support a bill like HR1 that would prevent it???

This conversation is bigger than one donor data point, and there’s no reason why my last point should be something anyone should disagree about, but I bet you still do just because it’s a Dem bill.

The Big Oil Companies love the Republican Party. The Republican Party likes big bailouts to the rich, and profits to the wealthy. Meanwhile their profits never go to the 6 day a week slave workers in their plants, at their rigs, or in the field maintaining equipment at all hours of the night. Oh, but what about all those laid off during the pandemic? They will still be out of work as the shareholders wine and dine on their private jets headed to their vacation spots.

Who benefits from Big Oil's big profits? Not Houston's laid-off oil workers.
    Summary from Houston Chronicle

Exxon said it made $6.8 billion during the three months ended Sept. 30, the Texas oil major’s best quarterly performance in four years. Its California-based rival Chevron said it made $6.1 billion over the same period, its best quarter in eight years.

Exxon Mobil and Chevron are posting their biggest profits in years as recovering crude demand and prices improved the bottom lines for the nation’s largest oil companies.
Big Oil’s turn of fortune, however, will primarily benefit shareholders — not most of the 60,000 laid-off oil exploration and production workers in Texas who are still waiting for the next oil boom. So while Exxon and Chevron are flush with cash, the state and regional economies may not get the full effects as if the companies reinvested their windfalls into new drilling projects, experts say. Instead, company executives said Friday, they will keep spending low and heed investor demands to return more cash to shareholders.

Hahahahaha Such a great personality, bragging about his greatness in everything and bullying people like a pompous prick. A man with such great character. Such a sexy fit body that would attract women like flies on a watermelon. Such a catch, even if he was penniless. Yeah, ok. I'll buy that. Not!!

Hillary didn't leave Bill either. No one divorces a president. Two presidents have been divorced in US history, Reagan and Trump, both before being president. It just doesn't happen.

    https://news.yahoo.com/prri-poll-republicans-violence-040144322.html

Almost one-third of Republicans say they think violence may be necessary to solve the problems facing the United States, according to a new national survey by the nonprofit Public Religion Research Institute. The finding is part of PRRI’s 12th annual American Values Survey released Monday which, among other things, highlights the continued impact of the same falsehoods and conspiracy theories that fueled the violent Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol nearly one year later.

More than two-thirds of Republicans, or 68 percent, continue to believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump, compared to 26 percent of independents and just 6 percent of Democrats.

According to the survey, Americans who believe Trump won the 2020 election are roughly four times as likely than those who don’t to agree that violence may be necessary “to save our country,” by a measure of 39 percent to 10 percent. Since he lost the election a year ago, Trump has spread false conspiracy theories claiming that the election was rigged and that President Biden’s win was illegitimate.

Among Republicans who trust Fox News above other outlets, 82 percent said they believe the election was stolen from Trump. Ninety-seven percent of those who rely mostly on far-right news sources like Newsmax and One America News (OAN) said the same, compared to less than half, 44 percent, of Republicans who trust mainstream news outlets.

“As we've gotten some distance [from Jan. 6], one might hope cooler heads would prevail, but we really haven’t seen that,” said Jones. “If anything, it looks like people are doubling down and views are getting kind of locked in.”

Trump is one of the two that were divorced (multiple divorces before Melania). Reagan was the other one.

Oh, I thought you meant divorced while President. It amazes me Melania hasn't divorced him by now. You couldn't pay me enough to put up with a narcissistic lying cheating psychopath like him. It's not like she couldn't find a handsome man with a heart and integrity. She's beautiful. Just seeing Trump on TV makes my skin crawl with disgust.
